We ordered breakfast for five online on Christmas Eve and everyone loved what they got!

These bagels are delicious. I stopped in twice during my visit to the area. The first time I got the lox and cream cheese bagel sandwich and it was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The second time I got an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and that cream cheese was incredible. I liked this place so much that I got a six pack of bagels to take back with me to Pittsburgh.

Came up from Maryland for an event, was searching for my first authentic New York Bagel Place and found this nice tucked away gem. Upon entry you were greeted by a busy yet welcoming atmosphere as they were making fresh bagels. We ordered a Jersey, Omelet, and an Egg & Cheese Bagel Sandwich. They came out hot and were absolutely delicious! We ordered a Dozen and half to take away and also got a nice sweet treat! I can’t recommend this place more if you’re looking for your first NY bagel place!

This was my first visit to Poppy Seed, and I am already looking forward to returning. From the moment I walked in, the inviting atmosphere set the tone for a delightful meal. The highlight for me was the French toast bagel, which was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining soft and fluffy inside. Paired with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice that was bright and refreshing, it made for an incredible breakfast. I also tried a delicious muffin that was warm and full of flavor. I was so captivated by the food that I almost started drafting this review while I was still enjoying my meal! Poppy Seed is one of those exceptional places you truly have to see to believe. Finally, I found a restaurant that lives up to all the glowing ratings and reviews!

Let me tell you about how great these people are, the food they make and the service!! My wife and I went to NYC for the first time ever for our first anniversary! We are a ton of pizza! But literally on our way out I said, "wait!! We haven't had any NY bagels yet!!" So we stopped here at Poppy Seed! We ordered a couple fresh bagels, mine with sausage, egg and hot honey (Big Jack) on a jalapeno bagel, (getting hungry again thinking about it) an iced coffee you get to make yourself which is the best! And tater tots! That's what I thought anyways. As it came, it turned out to be a ton of tots! So good! My wife had, bacon, egg, scallion cream cheese and hot honey (Bumble Bee) on a poppy seed bagel! As we waited they handed us 5 or 6 strips of bacon for free because it was taking more than a couple minutes! So nice!! The bagels were both bigger than anything we'd had in Canada and sooooo much fresher! It rendered all other bagels useless to us... Haha haven't had any since actually! Definitely highly recommend. You can see the fresh bagels as they come out!

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 10 years and I’m disappointed that I haven’t came to Poppy seed bagels sooner. The service was great and I enjoyed my breakfast. Definitely will be coming back.

Today I got a jalapeno bagel with lox spread my dog love their everything bagel I must say I feel like family even the staff suggested the cream cheese I'm hooked thanks so much

Yeah they knock it out of the park. I would write a more in-depth review, but I’m too busy enjoying my rainbow bagel.

Best bagels and everyone is Super Nice!

Born and raised a New Yorker, I’ve had my share of bagels. To be honest, I was over them. After trying Poppyseed, I am addicted again! Their bagels are big and chewy. They aren’t overly doughy. They are generous with the toppings-I recommend whole wheat everything. They have a huge cream cheese selection. The cream cheese is comparable to what we paid living in Manhattan, but it’s so good! I like the vegetable one. I’ve also tried a few different sandwiches-excellent as well. Pair your bagel with a fresh squeezed OJ and your day is bound to be good!

There is only one word and that is PERFECT.
I went to a few recommended bagel shops during my stay in NY but this one was by far the best and totally blew my socks off. It was a successful end to my trip and I am very happy to have visited this shop. The bagels are very fluffy and have an excellent taste, the service is very good and everything is prepared very fresh and quickly.

To my delight, the boss gave me a sweet bagel as a gift at the end. It was indescribably delicious. I can only recommend this shop!
