DO NOT COME the food was decent, you can def find better in 8ave or chinatown. however there is definitely a major red flag here, when we handed over the dimsum sheet, the owner added a couple extra plates to our bill without us knowing. (an extra $20) we thought it was a mistake and let it slide. but we came back again and it happened 3 more times. this cannot be real. SCAM SCAM SCAMM MAKE SURE TO CHECK UR PLATES AND BILL BEFORE THE OWNER SCAMS U MORE. i would bet money the owner does it to every table.

When our dinner plans changed unexpectedly, we needed a quick bite, and this place was a great find..We got there around 7 PM, and even though it was a bit busy, we were seated right away. We focused on the dim sum menu, though the main menu looked tempting too.
We tried the shrimp hargaw, turnip cakes, shrimp and leek dumplings, sweet piggy themed custard buns, and the fish moulded mango pudding. My favorite by far were the shrimp and leek dumplings, especially with a little chili crisp oil – perfection! The adorable piggy custard buns were also a sweet ending. The turnip cake and the fish-shaped mango pudding weren't my favorites, but everything else was great.
I'd definitely love to come back and explore their main menu next time!

Precious Island Tea Shop is an authentic Cantonese gem right on Staten Island. The stir-fried lobster with sticky rice was rich and flavorful, the fried pork chop was perfectly crispy, and the stir-fried garlic steak was tender and loaded with garlicky goodness — every dish was a hit!

The customer service was excellent and very attentive throughout our meal, making the experience even better. If you're looking for genuine Cantonese flavors and great hospitality, this place is a must-visit!

Disgusting – Grease Pool, Red Dye, and No Flavor

I ordered the General Tso’s chicken and it was absolutely inedible. The chicken was sitting in a pool of grease, with no crispy coating at all—just soggy, oily breading drenched in flavorless sauce. To make it worse, everything was coated in an artificial bright red dye that looked unappetizing and unnecessary. The entire dish had no flavor, just grease and dye. I took one bite and threw it all out. For the price, this was a complete waste of money. I’ll never order from here again.

Very good Dim Sum restaurant. Nice variety, served fresh and hot. Service is good. Bathrooms and the visible part of the kitchen prep area, needs attention. Not as clean as it has been in the past.
