On Sunday, April 7th, my fiancee and I ordered a large pie, with half plain and half chicken bacon ranch. We didn't see any chicken bacon on display, but the girl behind the counter kindly told us they can make it for us. We ate at home, and the plain half was pretty decent however, the chicken bacon half was, dry, and a bit rubbery and it did not taste fresh; we could not eat it and not even our pets would! Unfortunately, it was too late to call the pizzeria back so my fiancee contacted them the next day. She spoke with a man saying he was the owner and instead of apologizing to her, he made her feel like it was her fault for not calling sooner! He asked her the same thing multiple times "why didn't you call the day of?", and my fiancee explained that it was after store hours (website states they close at 9:30PM on Sundays). The owner did say that had we called sooner, he would have made a fresh pizza for us but it had to be the same day. We appreciate him saying that however, he refused to understand it was already too late to call them back the same day! What was he going to do for us at 9:30 PM, prepare some fresh chicken cutlets at closing hours? Anyway, we would have preferred they tell us they didn't have any chicken than to pay for weeks old chicken.

This was my second time coming here. I ordered 3 slices and it was $11 and change. I handed the young guy a $20. He handed me back $6 and change. I was immediately puzzled and began to do the quick math in my head. In the meantime he answered the phone to take an order or something. As I resolved to speak up and call him out, he opened the cash register and pulled out the two dollars he kept in there and handed it to me without even acknowledging what he did. I was going to tip anyways and I still even did after out of habit but then was kicking myself for being that generous to someone who obviously does this to people all the time. While eating in there he was joking around with the other employees, not at all worried or embarrassed about what he did. Both times coming here I thought the pizza was excellent but now I never want to come back. It’s obvious when someone just makes a mistake but this definitely wasn’t.

Spinach rolls and chicken rolls are amazing! Had a regular cheese pizza with mushrooms, yummmmm! They use fresh and sauté the mushroom in garlic. Delivery was about half an hour on a Saturday, terrific! Couldn't be happier

No matter how busy they are, they are always so friendly and welcoming!!!! Food is great too.Parking: You can usually get a spot right in front of the restaurant, but there's also parking to the right and left and even some spots on the other side of the lot, closer to hylan blvd.

We have had Prime take out many times and the food was very good. Last night we had the eggplant parm entree, and the eggplant was inedible. The sauce was not as good as usual. Was there someone new in the kitchen?

Another pizza place I hadn't heard much about but I enjoyed. Had a plain cheese pie. Good tasting sauce. Crust at the end could be a little better. They have a large selection of specialty pies. All looked very good. Good service too. 7.5 on the pie.
Prime Pizza is by far the best pizza in Staten Island they are sooo reasonably priced, extremely delicious and so kind. I have ordered catering twice from them for a party and for my daughter’s teachers .. People talked about the long chicken heroes , pasta and pizzas for DAYSSSS. A real gem in Staten Island , for real.
