If you're craving delicious, fresh seafood and an unbeatable atmosphere, Red’s is the place to be! While there are other good seafood spots on the island, Red’s is in a league of its own. First off, the customer service here is off the charts. The staff genuinely loves what they do, and it shows in every dish they serve with immense pride. We tried three different items from the menu: the fried lobster tail, the fried scallops, and the shrimp roll, and let me tell you—each dish blew us away! The lobster was brought out alive before it even hit the fryer—now that’s a five-star experience! The scallops were incredibly tender and had the perfect light, crispy coating. The shrimp roll was bursting with unique and mouthwatering flavors. The outdoor seating is fantastic, and parking is super convenient for the area. There’s so much more to rave about, but you really have to visit Red’s in person to fully experience their fresh, phenomenal food!
I’m serious- all you need is one try and you’ll see what I mean.

I had high hopes for this place because I pass by everyday and wonder what the food is like. I finally tried it at the soul festival and although the flavors were on point, the "grilled salmon" which I expected to be a fillet was minced and kind of soggy. It was super hectic at this event and staff did a great job moving the line and cooking but I honestly wish I would have gotten something else. The mixed berry cornbread sounded delicious but it missed the mark on texture and taste. It resembled more of a pound cake to me without the heavy sweetness. The cost of great food is invaluable to me and having a well versed food background, I finished my food at snug harbor feeling less than satiated. I wish this wasn't the case. The below cost me $40 together which my peers were horrified by. I don't mind paying a pretty penny for impressive food but unfortunately, I was not impressed.

We had hot lobster rolls, fish rolls and lobster Mac and cheese. Can decide which we liked most. Atmosphere is chill and relaxing and Owner is a friendly and personal guy. The food was delicious and I look forward to going back soon.

Super nice people. The taste is there. My only complaint is just how small this lobster roll is. That isn’t a full size roll and it was barely filled.
I know lobster is expensive, but I would rather pay an extra couple bucks and actually get a full roll.

Took a trip from Brooklyn to SI with my gf and daughter to get cheap gas at Costco, then my gf said she was in the mood for seafood. We tried to go to Mighty Crab, but the dude on the phone said they weren’t taking customers at 9PM. Called Reds and he was the nicest down to earth guy I’ve met in a while. They welcomed us and were super friendly. My gf was being difficult, so they offered to come it something nice together for us. We were beyond satisfied with the food. The atmosphere was amazing, and the service was exceptional. What a sensational place where they treat you like family. I am so surprised and impressed. I wish I could’ve met these people sooner, and I’m definitely coming back! I hope they keep doing what they’re doing! Instant favorite seafood joint! I can’t wait til they get the seafood boils going!

You must visit this place. The owner is a very pleasant and professional man. His daughters take the orders and work the cash register. All of them are very pleasant and polite. The food is out of this world!! This is the first review I have ever written. Wife had lobster roll , I had fish and chips, also had that we shared, BBQ corn, steak and crab legs. All cooked and seasoned to perfection. There is parking around back. You must visit this place!! Only drawer back, no inside seating. But well worth it.
