dont go here. waiters dont care about anything and the food takes insanely long. came here on thanksgiving eve for my brothers birthday and the waitress did everything in her power to mess it up. burger was wrong and took an hour. didnt apologize or comp us with anything. truly the worst restaurant experience i have had. sucks that this place sucks!!!!

It was edible. I got full Flavor was scarce It was OKAY. The fried pickles were still half frozen and mushy at the same time, the onion rings had a great outer crunch, but alas mushy inside as well. The fries were crunchy but also cold. The steak sandwich was decent

We looked at the online menu, looked interesting but when we got there it wasn't anything close to what's on line even the drinks I don't know if it is seasonal but it was disappointing. Then we came early 6:30 because I had my 8yr old nephew with me they sat us in the back next to a room with a black curtain where I don't know if it was a party or what but the 4 adults in our group couldn't have a conversation at all. The waiter had to ask so many times what did you say I felt bad for him Overall terrible experience we will never go back 3 apps some burgers $250 yea could have went to an actual restaurant for that

Love this place! It's a semi- regular restaurant for this girl when I'm in Staten Island! Everything I've eaten is good and they have a great selection of drinks. On my last visit I had the marinated flank steak and it was amazing! The matrix burger is also one of my favorites. Sometimes we just order appetizers...

With a great regret, we leave this review. We have been to Richmond Republic, many times in the past the service is steadily gone downhill. The food has also went downhill this past Sunday went to watch the football game, terribly understaffed. The food took forever to come out, the wings were overcooked. The waiter was nowhere to be found. Had to get our own drinks from the bar. Don’t understand what’s going on with this establishment with a total of 10 people in the bar. The service should’ve been adequate but was not we regret to say that we would not go back again

I get there with a reservation for two. They seat us at a table for 6 and in the uncomfortable chairs they have. My husband and I were uncomfortable so I went back to the hostess and ask for a booth as there were 5 booths open. A woman behind the desk tells me she can’t seat me in one bc they have reservations for those tables. I say okay and go back to my uncomfortable table and proceed to watch those booths remain mostly empty the entire meal. I then order nachos and drinks. Nachos never come the entire meal. Then I go to order the beyond burger. I’m a vegetarian. I went here because their menu had a behind burger on it. The waitress says they don’t have it anymore and haven’t updated their online menu. I order the only thing on there that’s vegetarian, the grilled cheese with caramelized onion and substitute fries for the soup as the soup isn’t vegetarian. About an hour later my grilled cheese shows. It is about the size of a crouton. It is absolutely the smallest grilled cheese I have ever seen in my life. My husband ordered the burger and he said it had gristle in it and was sub par. So basically the metal chairs are uncomfortable, the staff is awful and the food was not good. Not to mention the online menu doesn’t even match what they have currently. I can see why it was mostly empty at 7 on a Saturday night.

The food took too long to arrive and when it did, all of our meals were cold. One of the egg in Eggs Benedict didn't have yolk, muffin was soggy and Hollander sauce didn't have e salt. The food didn't taste good either, which made the experience worse. Asked for cocktail to be less sweet and it still came really sweet. Would not recommend.

Love this place for the food which is definitely a step up from traditional bar food. The drinks are alright for a bar I felt they could have been better but they often run out of things. Over all it is a fun place that can get packed on certain nights
