So, I went to the bakery on Bay Street I got a Chocolate Strawberry Short Cake. Let me tell you it was nothing of what they called it. They should call it a Black Peper Chocolate Short Cake. It was terrible. No one liked it and it went into the trash. The nerve to charge $30. Never ever again.

One of the best cheesecakes in NYC. Great coffee too along with a lovely owner. If I could give it 6 stars I would, a proper coffee and pastry shop.

I first came across this place 10 years ago on a holiday to NYC from NZ. I had the cheesecake and it was the best I'd ever had. Returned today after 10 years on another holiday to NYC. Made a trip on the ferry just to have that cheesecake again. Still the best there is.

I can't really rate them because they close a little after noon. I see alot of people going there around 4pm but they are closed. People from the courts, library, police personnel and tourists usually go pass the bakery around 4 , but again they are closed..So not sure when I will get the opportunity to dine there.

You got the bomb!!! The Italian ice is incredible here! Soft, super smooth, creamy and rich it doesn't taste like a ice but it is! Hands down the best Italian ice I have had! Flavors are intense and portions are generous! The small is $2.50 and there are sizes in between. The quart is $10.00. There are lots of flavors but they don't always have them all at this location. The kind lady told us that all the pastries and cakes are in their main branch and this little shop is more a coffee shop to serve the locals, so that is why there are no full sized cakes on display and limited hours! The place is modern and clean yet cozy! There are three tables for sit in! They make all types of coffee and the almond cookie with jam was absolutely fresh and divine! I would love to try every flavor of the Italian ice! That's how good it is! One lady who worked at the court house got two quarts and swears that cantaloupe is the flavor to try! I can't wait for another taste and to check out the main branch too!

It took me 45 minutes after getting off the Ferry to find a place to sit an enjoy coffee. The first place advertised coffee, but had no espresso machine. The second place was thermos coffee, and finally a helpful police offer pointed us in the direction of this little gem. We were cheerfully greeted by what I think was the granddaughter of the original owner. The coffee was great, and the carrot cake was excellent. It's a small, cute place with great service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good coffee. I gladly support little family run businesses like this over Starbucks.

This place used to be really great but ever since they changed management it has really plummeted in quality. The bagels don't appear to be fresh anymore, the staff isn't friendly at all. People used to look forward to going here but now it's just another below average pastry shop.

Hello, we came all the way from Florida with your shop as one of our primary destinations. You were supposed to open Saturday, June 12, at 9 am. When we came to the shop at 10 am, it was closed. What is going on?

Great neighborhood cafe. Coffee and pastries are very good. Best bagel spot in St George too.

Great cozy little satellite location from the main shop 2 miles away. I get coffee here daily as well as a pizza for lunch sometimes: delicious. I've also ordered cannoli cakes and recommend the rum variant. Their breads are also great as are the cookies and pastries.I haven't tried the Italian ice yet, but will soon. The woman that runs the shop is very friendly & helpful and is the finishing touch of a nice bakery shopping experience.

Pardon my long review. I just dont want this to happen to anyone else! NEVER EVER order a custom cake at this shop. There was a miscommunication about the time that the cake should be ready. Fine, I can except that (things happen) but the rude argumentative attitude and lack of empathy from who seemed to be the manager/owner was appalling. At the end of the day I do not have the cake I needed for my family members 73rd Birthday. I tried to shop local and support a local buisness in my neighborhood but I will never shop here again.
