Rustic Pizza & Pasteria

The food was Great I ordered some meatballs to go after waiting for service a few minutes,...a woman said ",Can I help you" and I was like "You sure can"! She was helpful and took my order. The place was extremely busy and the whole staff was doing their best. It was like an opening night scenario ...and it was handled well. Definitely will be back to eat there. The place is very nice and the staff gets an E for excellence ✨️

Based on all of the hype, I was excited to try Rustic Pizza, but I have to say I was a little disappointed.

We started with fried zucchini (cooked like shoestring potatoes) - which was great!

My friend had the penne in a sage brown butter with salsicce & pistachio and the personal pan-sized prosciutto & fig pizza, which she liked.

I had a non-traditional white clam pie made with paper thin slices of potatoes & bacon. I wasn’t crazy about it because the smokiness of the bacon overwhelmed the flavor of the pie. But kudos to them that they use fresh clams.

I would’ve preferred to get a personal pan-sized pizza, but they only make them with the thicker crust and I prefer a thin pizza.

On their cocktail menu they offer a variety of Negronis. I tried the Figroni, a Negroni enhanced with fig puree - just a little too sweet for me.

I don’t know our server’s name, but he was really great, very helpful with questions about the menu.

The place is absolutely adorable but it kind of missed the mark for me, especially in a place like Staten Island where there’s lots of good pizza options to choose from.

I order a chicken salad, I wasn’t aware that’s the zeppelins were 8$ so I called to cancel and I asked for extra Caesar dressing for my salad and because I called to cancel the zeppelin’s like 2 min after I ordered destiny the girl who placed my order caught an attitude and sent me this when I asked for extra dressing that I was charged for …. One comes with the salad and the other one I paid for, it wasn’t even half way full mind u I had a large salad smh the salad was soooo good btw Im just afraid to order again

I was excited to try this new spot on Richmond road. I went on a Friday night. We ordered the garlic bread, which came out burned and very dry. We then ordered the pasta with sausage and peppers. The food was not good. The sausage and peppers were mushy and didn't taste very well. They also brought out cold, hard bread to eat with dinner. My bill was almost 80 dollars plus a tip. For these prices I expected much better.

Chicken Francese was on point, I use this as a gauge. If you can not make a good francese sauce, non buono 😆 Pizza was very good too. Linguine Alfredo with chicken was great also but LOL no tagliatelle or fettuccine pasta. I would consider adding to the menu 😉😘

pizza was really good and so was the customer service . Zeppoles were bad, so if you were craving and or excited to get them….dont. Unless you want your hopes to come down when you get fried dough with 2 drops of powdered sugar. Everything else was cool tho :)

I had dinner here and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great. Our server Eric was excellent. He was extremely attentive and very polite. The manager Marina was very kind and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and appreciated good food and excellent customer care. We will return.

Congratulations to you for your new restaurant

I decided to try the grilled chicken salad for $17, and I was thoroughly unimpressed. The salad was incredibly basic—just a bed of plain lettuce with a handful of cherry tomatoes thrown in. There was only one small container of dressing, which barely covered the greens, leaving the entire salad dry and bland. The chicken lacked any flavor and tasted like it had been hastily cooked with no seasoning. For someone who eats salads regularly, this was by far one of the worst experiences. Definitely not worth the price, and I won’t be returning for another.

I had a surprise birthday party for my wife and Rustic was recommended by a cousin. Omg delicious food , plenty of fodd. The people were all so helpful and I was able to do it all on the phone! Great place to eat and great staff ty
