Sally's Southern & BBQ

My husband and I had a great lunch at Sally’s Southern.The burgers and fries were super delicious. I have only one complaint. I ordered a martini which was very good but the glass was half full. If I’m paying $15 for a drink, I should be given a full pour.

Finally, I can get my chicken fried steak fix. Not a fan of the chicken fried potato wedges.

A must try in Staten Island. Amazing food, amazing ambience.

The food was simply great - real, authentic and totally enjoyable. The brisket was proper and the coleslaw that came with it was the best I had in years.
The wings were fresh and crunchy, the ribs were tender, almost falling from the bones.
And don't forget the peach cobbler bread pudding to round up your meal

Food was delicious - my family gobbled up the brisket, ribs, wings, fried chicken, fried shrimp, and hot sauce. (Only disappointment was with the collard greens.) Absolutely wonderful service.

I chose from the catering menu for 10 people, it was hot , delicious and the family enjoyed everything. I would definitely order again.

Food was so good !! My sister, cousin and I came here for the first time on saturday night and had an amazing experience. ALL of the food was excellent and the service was awesome our waitress was so nice and helpful when we were ordering. Our favorite was the mac and cheese (topped with bacon)! I’d also recommend the mashed potatoes, wings, pulled pork, pickle fries, etc! For dessert we got the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream :)

I don’t know who Sally is, but she might just be an angel sent from the heavens of barbecue perfection. I ordered the brisket, the brisket mac and cheese, and the double smash burger for delivery, I didn’t mind splurging tonight for me and my boyfriend’s anniversary dinner. Little did I know, I was about to embark on a life-changing journey. First, the brisket. I don’t even have words—actually, I do: succulent, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth magic. I took one bite, and I swear I heard a choir of angels singing in the distance. I had to check my pulse to make sure I hadn’t transcended into another dimension. Then, the brisket mac and cheese. Oh, so you thought regular mac and cheese was the pinnacle of comfort food? WRONG. This was the kind of dish that makes you want to write a strongly worded letter to every other restaurant and ask why they even bother serving food. My boyfriend had the double smash burger and by this point, I was convinced Sally was some kind of wizard. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right. It was the kind of burger that makes you rethink every past burger decision you’ve ever made. And all of this was delivered. I wasn’t even in the restaurant, yet I felt like I was getting VIP treatment from the BBQ gods. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Sally, whoever you are, never stop what you’re doing.

We had a reservation and we get there while the restaurant is almost completely empty. Even still - the hostess tells us the table would be ready soon but we could sit by the bar to wait if we wanted. Again, we had a reservation and it was EMPTY. We get seated and over the course of the meal (food was either too baked or just not good) we maybe saw our waitress twice

Catered for NYE. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was. I was very pleased with the amount of food given and the packaging. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Food was delicious but service was truly first class. Jade was an absolute ball of sunshine & positivity. Definitely the reason to keep coming back.
