Very cute and aesthetic place. Tiny but the food is delicious. Would recommend the pierogis (fried).

Beautiful little place decorated in cottage core style and I wanted to love it because they were playing some great seventies music but oh my the food and the service really had to go. Our lethargic waiter who didn't have a clue what was going on. I ordered soup and I never received it. After 20 minutes and receiving an appetizer we ordered I called him over and asked about my soup. It was pretty obvious he never put the order in. He walks away and then I thought is he bringing it? He didn't say anything so after 10 minutes I call him over again and he says oh I just put it in but it will come out with the food. So I said I don't want it with my food, it was a precursor to my dinner. So that's how it started and then I got my entree. I love brisket and so I ordered the brisket but it said it came with hoisin sauce which I found strange but I said take a chance. The sauce tasted awful. I scraped it off the meat but the brisket itself was dry and tough. It didn't taste like anything. I was so disappointed. I was really hungry when I went in there but I couldn't eat it and after picking at it we decided to leave. My partner wasn't thrilled with his Reuben sandwich but he took the half he didn't eat home. I was asked if I wanted to take mine home and I said no. It's a shame because it is such a pretty place.

The place is a sweet shabby chic. The waitress was excellent. The food was okay. Nothing to tell anyone about. The fries came across as fried frozen. They were bland. No salt. Chicken soup was good but missing salt. They do know how to cook meat. Very tender. But once again needed some sort of spice. Unfortunately we most likely won’t be returning unless I’m sick and I ask my husband to pick up a chicken soup to go. I’ll add the salt.

Very cozy and boutique like, food is great, with interesting twists!Parking lot is small, and so is the restaurant, but we'll worth it!Vegetarian options: They are open to making vegetarian options.

Such a cute spot! It’s a tiny place (parking lot is tight) with the cutest decor inside. We’ve done lunch and it’s all been delicious.Portions are big so could definitely be shared at the table. Some of our favs:Fried pickles, chicken schnitzel sandwich, and pastrami sandwich—the meat is so tender and not stringy.Cocktails were also delicious. The lavender flavor isn’t overpowering and has a great taste.Highly recommend for a mid-day bite or girls brunch.

Finally found a pastrami joint on par with the Katz & Harold's of the world, without leaving the island. Hidden gem ! Will definitely be returning . Hearing big things about their breakfast as well. Can't comment, haven't tried....yet!

Service was terrible. Food was too late, and one of the waitresses was so rude.

Delightfully appointed, small spot in a strip mall with very tasty food. Hodgepodge of dining plates add to the ambiance. We had a cold cut chopped salad and yummy pierogis.

Unfortunately the pelmeni had no flavor. Second time I've had this delivered and again no flavor . Not the same when you're eating in the restaurant. But delivery is expensive so id expect the same care in the food either way .

Absolutely LOVE the food and beverages here. The quality really shines through, making every bite, every sip beyond delicious. There are no words to capture how beautifully crafted the food is here, ESPECIALLY the pastrami. Always looking forward to coming back to try other menu items.

Had the chicken soup and grill cheese. The flavor was on point, my oly thing is the soup was just chicken and broth...no veggies idk this was a thing . Like I said the flavor was great. My girl had the corn beef and wasn't impressed, corn beef was to thick cut and the bread wasn't toasted, soon the grout juice then destroyed the bread. Again the flavors are there. Wanna try there breakfast next time before I can honestly say yea or nae

What a find! Been meaning to check this place out and now it will become my staple in SI. So many delicious options. Not only are there latkes and matzah ball soup, but also the modern dishes like avocado toast, pancakes, and waffle & chicken. Mocktails are good too. Service was friendly and atmosphere very charming. Overall great experience!

Wow! Let me just start by saying this is truly a hidden gem. It's within a very small shopping center on Richmond avenue and I definitely would have just continued passing right by it without a recommendation from a friend. This small, cozy restaurant is simply one-of-a-kind on Staten Island! The decor and vibes are old-school, some may say it reminds them of the home of their grandmother lol but I love it. The menu is huge and I only wish I could have tried more! Everything we had we loved - truffle pierogis, latkes, pastrami, matzo ball soup. My friends got French roast & chicken schnitzel and they both loved theirs as well! In addition to their delicious food they even have some awesome cocktails which is always a bonus in my book! The waitress was super friendly and made it more of a delight. The only downside of how small it is is how packed it feels, but that's because word has gotten out about how great of a spot this is. I can't wait to go back to try more!!
