I ordered the sushi lunch and it was a complete disappointment. The fish smelled so bad I gagged and had to throw it out, it was clearly not fresh. I also asked for soup and got a salad instead. Overall, I wasted $18 on something I couldn’t even eat.

The sushi is great and they have fast service but don’t get the spicy tuna salad. It’s a basic salad with a plop of ground tuna on top. Nothing special about it and it does not taste good

I love this place, food is always fresh and tastes great. However, I give 1 star because already twice I’ve been chased down to leave a bigger tip. Prior time I was at the place with my husband and mother-in-law, we left a tip and waitress threw the check presenter back at the table and said we didn’t tip enough. This time waitress chased me as I was leaving to get a tip. Honestly, I feel horrible because there is no tip culture in Europe. Why would I leave a tip if I already paid for my food plus tax? Teach your waitresses some manners, good food bad service.

Amazing
I came here with my boyfriend and ordered a tuna roll. The second I took a bite, I spit it out — it reeked of ammonia. The fish was clearly spoiled. I flagged down the woman working there to let her know, and instead of showing even basic concern, she immediately dismissed me, saying she had eaten it earlier and it was fine. She refused to even check it and basically accused me of lying.
But what really pushed me over the edge? I was the one complaining, and she kept ignoring me and looking at my boyfriend — waiting for him to speak for me. He didn’t even say a word and looked confused as hell, because it was obvious I was the one talking. It was condescending, sexist, and absolutely infuriating.
We also had tuna sashimi, which was fresh — proving what I said from the start. But instead of acknowledging there might be an issue, she doubled down, talked over me, and treated me like a scammer trying to get a free meal. Meanwhile, I’d already lost my appetite and just wanted to leave.
Horrible food, even worse treatment. Don’t waste your money or dignity here.

This is always a great place to go if you want good quality sushi. The only issue I've had is that it's hard to get the attention of staff members. They seem to avoid eye contact. Otherwise, this is a great location.

this place has been hit or miss for the last few years and very inconsistent. today we got only that was clearly not so she me or sushi grade it was brown and color and smelled. I called them to try to get the $12 back for the two pieces and they said it was so fresh it was still alive.
that being the case just like other Staten Island Sushi joints if you don't stick with the tuna or salmon you won't be disappointed. I grew up eating only and have even harvested myself so when they want to play experts, sorry no dice.

The food is cheap and the quality of meat isn’t great, be careful.
This place does not open at 11 am, even though google says so and the sign says open. We showed up at 11 am for an early lunch, google said it was open, the sign said open too, but, she said “it’s too early, we’re open 11:30” in a very rude manner.
Go there for cheap prices, cheap food, and cheap service.
