I love the name but I can't find it

We went here for a quick meal with colleagues and I liked the atmosphere, there wasn't anything special about the food - but good drinks.

I think Bo's may be underrated. The food is wonderful especially if as a group you order a melange of dishes and share (as we did). Saturday night live music turns the evening into a fabulous night out. Attentive server and happy vibe. We all loved it!

Always a lovely time at Bo's, we had our Valentine's meal there but have been there several times in the past.

My boyfriend and I had a great time. The service was really great. The music was beautiful. But, the food was bland. And I did not like the chicken meal, it was too sweet.

The fried chicken with biscuit dish was outstanding! We didn't like the roasted oysters appetizer so they told us they would take it off the bill - without our asking. The cocktails were delicious- I love the Ramos Gin Fizz which I hadn't had in years since I was in New Orleans at Commanders Palace! I have been searching for it! The desserts looked good, but we passed on those this time. The singer played acoustic guitar- he was great. We could still converse without strain, despite sitting close to the singer. One table loved one of the songs and the 4 of them sung along which was fun. The ambiance was overall upbeat and friendly. Casual modern décor- turquoise colored walls. The cushioned chairs were very comfy - at our table for two. It wasn't a large place so tables were close but not extremely so. There was enough room to pass on either side and no one bumping into the chairs when they pass by ( a pet peeve of mine). There were semi- circular banquets for parties of 3 or more. The age range was 20's to 60's. Nice bar scene at the front- not overly packed at the bar for a Saturday night. There were lots of small and large parties, some people on dates. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. We will definitely be back.

Great food, I went with my wife and friends.Started with Burrata and gumbo, then we had steak, soft shell crabs with a side of brussels sprouts. We ended with Beignets and Mardi Gras sundae. We left there wondering when we can come back to the city for another great meal at Bo's

My friend and I were really excited to go to Bo's for dinner. The menu looked amazing and it seemed like a fun restaurant/bar. I was so disappointed. The hostess was not very welcoming but I decided to not let that ruin the evening. We were seated in a nice place and the restaurant wasn't very crowded. The waitress took forever to come to the table. Which really set the mood for the whole dinner. The service was so slow. We had to ask the guys clearing our table and refilling our water glasses to send our server over multiple times. Now, I can forgive slow service if the food is delicious, but it wasn't. Parts of our dinner were tasty but overall it wasn't fantastic. The bread they brought out was actually amazing. It almost tasted like a cross between pound cake and a croissant. We ordered the Grilled Prawns to share and those were also very tasty. I ordered the pink snapper, which I was so excited about, but it was really bad. It was so dry it was hard to eat. My friend ordered the softshell crab which I really didn't like either. I just recently had some amazing softshell crab from another restaurant and this was just disappointing. They did have some tasty cocktails. If you really want to try this restaurant, I would recommend stopping by for a drink or an app but I wouldn't stay for dinner.

Bar was crowded and very noisy, dinning room noisy as well. Not conducive to a pleasant dinner conversation. Had drinks and left. Would not recommend for dinning. OK for a lively bar scene.

The dining room had a nice retro look. It's hard to have a conversation in the dining room because the people at the bar keep screaming and are annoyingly loud. The alligator appetizer was good. We had fried chicken and seared tuna for our entrees, but those were just plain and overpriced. If you like a noisy bar crowd with cheap beer, go here. If you like to eat and talk, this is not the place.

This was my 4th time at Bo's. Maybe this night was just "off" for them, but so many things were bad I have to write a review. When we first arrived, there were no tables for two but the hostess said one should open up any minute. No problem, we went to the bar. After 25 mins I got up to look in the main dining room, and at least 4 tables were open. I went to the hostess about our table, and her response was "oh yea." No "sorry about that" or nothing, just grabbed a couple menus and started walking. Food: The gumbo texture was like a tomatoey sauce with chunks of sausage. The sausage tasted ok but the consistency was not like gumbo and the flavor was overpowered with tomato. The roasted oysters were bland... completely unremarkable. The pork chop with gravy was good, but had a lot of fat and the bone was huge... for $28 it was not even close to worth it. I was still starving afterwards. Service: We waited 30 mins after our appetizers to get our main course. We saw our waitress come by our table once during this time while we watched the other waitress on the floor pass by her tables constantly. We had to ask her to check on our next course. When we were done, our waitress just laid down dessert menus and walked off... no trying to sell us or anything, which was too bad because we were still hungry. But after our experience we just paid and left.

We chose Bo's as a great "in between" location for a business meeting ( we are on 28th street, our customer was on 21st). We really enjoyed it. The Crispy Alligator was amazing, and everyones lunch satisfied. Would recommend.

The prixe-fixe selections were very good, though the single dessert offering, two big cookies, was underwhelming. Also, the Snapper Po' Boy could have had a bit more of the usual Po'Boy condiments, although the fish and bread were both fresh and delicious. The gumbo was also quite tasty, but could have benefitted more from another slice or two of sausage.

The place has a super chill vibe with dim lighting and great music. The staff was very attentive and the menu options were great. The food was good. Just good though, not enough seasoning for my taste. I have family from Louisiana so perhaps I came in with expectations for traditional options like the gumbo...which left me a bit disappointed. Nonetheless, I would definitely go back with friends for drinks and appetizers.
