I ordered hibachi shrimp with rice and soup from Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the shrimp was mushy, as if it had been microwaved after sitting out too long. The broccoli was also very soggy. Overall, the food did not taste fresh. I won't be ordering from the Forest Ave location again.

Sayori is my go to Staten Island sushi restaurant. I’ve enjoyed their food for years! It’s crazy that I have yet to eat inside to get the full experience and see their beautiful plating, but I have picked up a lot of take out from them. The staff is really nice, friendly and very courteous. You definitely don’t get that everywhere. Lol Thank you!

They must have changed their chefs because nothing tastes good anymore. I've patronized this place for years.
Had a takeout order of 6 sushis (eel, salmon, inari), Beef Steak Teriyaki, Shrimp & Vegetables tempura, and Chicken Yakisoba. Sushis had an off taste to them. The steak was rubbery and oversalted, sauce very watery. Shrimp & Veg tempura was hard and dipping sauce way saltier than usual. Chicken from the Yakisoba had a strong taste of meat tenderizer (baking soda), not to mention the significantly reduced portion.
What a shame.

This is my favorite place in Staten Island. It is soo delicious here. We come here once a montj for sure. My favorite is pork gyoza , eal avocado roll, salmon skin salad and everything with eal))). Every time we here it is the same tasty sushi. I wish we lived closer so i can go there every day?. I guess i dont have many photos, because i cant wait. I eat as soon as it has touch my table.
Parking: The parking is in front of the restaurant. We usually have no problem parking right next to the place.

I went by the reviews as the best sushi restaurant in Staten Island. Sadly, It wasn’t. How disappointing .I wouldn’t go there again. Service was great, atmosphere was great. But the food was not. Sorry, for the bad review but it is the truth. I will never trust reviews again.

I ordered the lunch special with Philadelphia roll included. I understand the salmon is smoked but it has never looked like this before. It tasted slimy and horrible. I have ordered from this place for years and don’t think I’ll be returning back. I called and was only offered store credit.

It was late, Sayori was the closest Asian, we did not expect much from strip mall sushi. We were Completely Surprised! The food was great, the atmosphere is from the early 2000s, but who cares. They are not strictly Japanese, with that, and Chinese dishes on the menu. The sushi was fresh, and good portions. Try the salmon and ika for sure. The vegetarian in our party go the fried rice and veg tempura roll, both really good. The service is great. Must visit.
