I traveled with a friend from Boston to visit Shaw-nae’s house. It was a welcoming and intimate environment with lots of smiling faces. The restaurant radiated home feel, and it appeared visitors were at home. A wonderful experience plus the food! From the wings to the sweet potato cornbread, it was so filling! Dined here 2 days ago, the best restaurant experience and meal of my life! Already planning ro return asap. Staff were absolutely wonderful and so friendly! Sugar Daddy wings are a MUST HAVE! The mac n cheese I had I have been thinking about every second of the day. The smothered turkey legs…every bit fell of the bone! Compliments to Shawnae!

The people were extremely helpful and nice that worked inside i took my food to go my food and 2 small rum punches came out to 76 dollars . The rum punch was horrible it taste like bottom shelf vodka (not rum) with mad orange juice and grenadine !!! The yams taste from the can packed in syrup the greens taste over mushy and beyond salty the wings were extremely sweet taste like icing syrup and cinnamon 76 dollars in the garbage literally. Im extremely dissapointed !!!!
I had a future reservation they are correct they canceled and refunded the 21 dollar reservation fee ….

The staff and food are AMAZING. The food was worth the wait. Jennifer was amazing and so was Ms. Shawnee. It was a pleasure to dine there and I will be back! I recommend you go on their website and make a reservation because they are usually fully booked. The sugar daddy wings are just as good as everyone says are so is the oxtail, collard greens, cornbread and peach sangria. The chicken sandwich with honey butter added was also so good!

Shaw'nae's place is "AS ADVERTISED " 5+ Stars!! It's really a family atmosphere!! Sunday dinner,and she's orchestrating the whole thing. Along with her well experienced staff. Food on point, Rum punch on point, dessert on point. I can go on & on. But you must experience it yourself! Highly recommend & will definitely be returning, that is if I can score a reservation. Which is usually weeks out. Very few cancelations but fingers crossed!! Thank you again, wifey & I truly enjoyed our evening!!
