Awful. Ordered the medium bowl which was 11 dollars and added pineapple for 2 dollars. When I got my bowl it was filled with about a half of a scoop of acai. There was more granola than acai. The pineapple that I had paid extra for there was only 4 little small pieces. All the fruit in my bowl didnt taste fresh either. The amount of food that was in the medium size bowl probably would be the same amount as the kids. Usually when I go to an acai shop you expect the bowl to be filled all the way but not this shop.

I came in today, first time trying this place around 2:00. I ordered an acai bowl with just strawberry, banana, honey. I can’t complain about the food, fruit was fresh, acai was great, granola was okay and tasted more like oats. I went up to the front counter and the girl is standing there with her airpods in. Like one i understand, but two and she’s completely ignoring me. So i say “excuse me” and she doesn’t hear me. So again, politely I say “excuse me” and she looks up at me like i’m crazy. I’m like “Am i able to make a custom acai bowl” like custom toppings and all and in this nasty tone this girl goes “uh yeah” literally doesn’t say anything the entire time, including the price when i paid, even when I got my bowl. I tipped her 50% of the cost of the bowl in cash as well you think she’d at least have some sence of customer service skills. Bowl was made good though. Wouldn’t come back.

The bowls are always great! The service is pretty good too. My biggest composing... that they don't accept SNAP. It's fruit... we should be able to purchase it with EBT. Just my opinion.

I've been going with my friend for just under a year. We have been noticing that the bowls are not the same, depending on who makes them. some people seems to be very stingy, some make it very well. Why is there not a set formula for these bowls? If you say something they look at you like you have two heads. sometimes I get tons of granola and very little acai. Recently I got tons of acail and barely any granola. These bowls are not cheap. There should be no problems.

Please don’t go here if you appreciate and value good customer service. I literally had to contact my bank because the children they have working here refused to give me an exchange or refund because I said the green bowl didn’t look or taste how it was supposed to. I will be contacting corporate for sure until I get a refund. I will also show up to the store until I speak to someone who is over the age of 30. This location sucks and they’re probably racist as well, all of Staten Island is. the bowl was left in the store, so do what you want with that management and owners of forest ave location :) I will be back for my money.

This Morning Service was exceptional, At 8:00 am on 7/25 the bowls were perfect. I've only ever had one terrible experience. I know that's not the way service usually goes. Today was evidence that Sobol's customer service is excellent. Terrific recovery thanks, Mallory.

Vegetarian options: Mostly fruits. You can opt out of whatever you don't want. There are vegetable soups as well.
Dietary restrictions: If you have food allergies that's taken into consideration.
Parking: It's not always crowded. The flow of traffic is continuous.
Kid-friendliness: There are kid sized options.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance can accommodate a wheelchair. No ramp is needed.

I ordered a typical açaí bowl while on my lunch break and it was given to me in an unusual black container that I literally never seen them use before. At this point I didn’t put too much thought into and thought maybe they ran out of the branded containers that are usually used. I get back to work (mind you i literally work a 3 minute drive away and it’s 40° outside), and it was warm, completely melted with weird green shaving/specs that I had never seen before. I Immediately poured it out and there was hardened açaí/smoothie at the bottom. I believe one of your workers gave me an old açaí bowl?? Unacceptable considering that I spent over 10 bucks on that one bowl

Where do I even begin … what the hell are these overnight oats? I don’t remember overnight oats having the texture of wet dried bugs soaked in oobleck. Also, what’s with the patriotic “hood” music mashups being blasted in this store? I could barely take my order with what sounds like a live drummer in the humid back , with the smell of bleach and rotting fart coasting through the air.

I’m very happy with this place! It was my second time here, and both times exceeded my expectations! I’m initially from Staten Island so the past two times I came back to visit, I ordered a custom bowl. Sharing in photos! Anthony took care of me, and was very welcoming- kind- patient and helpful! Very happy with the Kale Smoothie and quality (and fresh) of everything I ordered (both times). Highly recommend this place.

They close at 8:30 yet when you walk in at 8:15, they say they’re closed and not taking anymore orders. Why is the door open for customers to walk in if they’re closed? Because the workers want to LEAVE at 8:30! I’m sorry but if your hours say you’re open until 8:30, you should be serving customers until 8:30!! If you’re wanting to LEAVE at 8:30, then close at 8:00. Hope the manager/owner fixes this because you are losing business!!
