I got so sick with the margaritas. How old are your mixes?
I spent $36 on 3 beef TACOS, order of 6 chicken wings, and a strawberry Margherita. The taco meat was questionable. The chicken wings were awful, probably fried the day before and then refried again when I placed the order. DISGUSTING ?. I returned to the counter and asked them if the wings were fried fresh both employees gave me the Stevie Wonder look and mumbled no, even they felt embarrassed about the whole situation. The drink was the only thing that I recommend, otherwise DO NOT EAT THE FOOD THERE. ??

On June 29 at approximately 4:15 pm I was at the Staten Island Mall food court and decided to try Sofia's for the first time. I encountered a young staff who looked disinterested in being there. I ordered one taco which costs over six dollars, a high price for one taco but I was hungry. After paying the young lady at the register gave me a gadget that signals when the food is ready. I waited and waited and held the gadget in my hand waiting for it to vibrate or make some noise. While I waited I watched the staff which seemed utterly bored and clearly not paying attention to the fact that there was a customer waiting on an order. After waiting for one taco for over 15 minutes I approached the two young girls at the register and asked if my taco was ready. They looked at each other and at the rest of the staff as if they all had guacamole on their heads. No one bothered to make my taco. I promptly asked for my money after they made no attempt to correct the situation. That's what happens when you hire young , entitled minded people to your business. Needless to say I will eat everything at the Staten Island mall except Sofia's Taqueria.

While the food was good, the Birria tacos were way better about 6 months ago. Also I ordered $100 worth of food to go…. Got home and realized that I didn’t even get any chips or salsa as I have had in the past.
I asked for one order of the carne asada and birria tacos. It came with 6 tacos but I was unaware that each taco was priced individually at $6.50-$7 PER TACO. I also got a drink and the total came out to almost $60. The register also automatically adds in an extra 15% gratuity which I thought was uncalled for considering this was for take-out. Tacos were good but not the best I've had. Cashier was friendly.

Style over substance. Worst burrito I’ve ever had. Ended up paying 20 dollars for a chicken burrito with tax and tip. Was flavourless. Wrap seemed raw. Not sure how you can mess up a burrito but it was really bad. Had two bites and binned the rest. Girl serving was nice and pleasant. I didn’t complain. I’m British we don’t do that. I just won’t come back

I was so excited to see a Mexican spot at the mall, so I really looked forward to ordering from Sofia's Guac Bar, especially because the menu looked enticing.I ordered Sofia's Secret (guacamole) a burrito, and tacos, and I'm not sure where to start with the problems. The guacamole was upsetting. It was bland, super expensive, and just meh. The burrito was ok, but the sauces they have all have like pineapple in them. I kept asking for a hot sauce, and they said that's all they had. The tacos were not added to the initial order, and so we had to wait extra and pay again to get the tacos, all because the cashier girl was jaded and not paying attention. Lastly, I get the surprise a week later on my credit card statement. I was charged TWICE for the same order. So not only did I have to pay twice in person, I'm paying 2 times for my own order which I have to now dispute. I can't give 0 stars but if I could I would. I've been to the other location and I was also annoyed at how expensive and basic it was. Now it's confirmed-this place isn't good in either location.

Spent $20 on two tacos and a tiny domestic beer. I would have been better off going to Taco Bell, BK, Melt Shop, etc. literally anywhere else.Quality is worse than Taco Bell, or a Jose Olé taco kit you’d make at home. I thought Sofia’s was supposed to be high quality? This place is ROBBERY ? if I saw these tacos before I paid for them I would have turned around. Almost asked for a refund but it’s the holidays and I don’t want to stress people out.
Worse nachos I ever had , drinks is more ice than beverage definitely don't come back to this place.
