Always enjoy our meals here but felt compelled to finally mention that the veggies in the fajitas and overcooked (especially since they continue cooking on sizzling platter.)The complimentary chips are fresh and crispy, but the salsa (which is very tasty) is too chunky to scoop. Drinks are great and reasonably priced.
Every thing was outstanding can't wait to go back food was delicious and the service is great
We were disappointed in the overall taste of the food. My carne asada tacos were bland and rather tasteless. Best part was dessert which was delicious. We will not return.
Had a reservation, got sat immediately. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Very attentive and very well paced. Food was excellent and price was less than expected. The design of the restaurant was very nice. We'll go back in the warmer weather to enjoy the outside dining.
Great time ! Excellent food and cocktails. Two delicious Red Sangrias made by the friendly bartender while we awaited an open table knocked me on my *ss!! Sooo good.... đ The nachos are yummy but really not enough to serve four people for appetizer and I wish they were more generous with the salsa to go with the chips because after four people take first scoop it's all gone đ but you can ask for more. Wait staff very friendly and love the whole fun vibe of the restaurant. We had another great family Friday dinner at Sofia's!!
Anytime I'm in Staten Island this spot is a must! Service is great and so is the food, this place is a whole vibe ! The cucumber spicy margarita is my favorite and anything I've eaten here has been delicious , hot and fresh. If it's your birthday, the entire staff comes out to sing happy birthday with a huge rooster and put the sombrero on you , lol it's hilarious . I definitely recommend.

Skirt steak fajitas were on point. Guacamole was authentic. Muscles were delicious and the pineapple salad fit perfectly with all these dishes. My girl loved the jalapeno margarita and I had some kind of cocktail cactus ish but make sure to tell them not to forget the alcohol. Our server Miguel was one of the best servers we've ever had. Attentive, respectful, thorough, friendly and very polite and presentable. You'll love it and ask for Miguel as a server if he's working!

I have to admit Sofias has become one of my favorite spots. I love the food and of course the margaritas. The location on Amboy was the only one I was missing to try in Staten Island and it didnât disappoint me at all. The service was great and the food delicious.

We ordered several brunch menu items which are served until 2:30 pm on Sundays, BTW. They were large portions, very good and all were served promptly by very attentive service staff. The bloody Maria was also very good and not very spicy.
Kid-friendliness: We did see high chairs and 2 tables did have small kids in their group.

I was literally the second person in here after opening this morning. Grubhub said pickup would be 15 min, but I decided to go in and place the order. The order took over 30+ min, but I still left a 22% tip. Ten minutes after driving off, I open the bag and see the cashier forgot to include the second part of my order. I call, cashier says itâs her fault she didnât give it to me because she thought I already given it during those 30+ min of waiting? I ended up having to drive back. Asked for a miniature cup of sour cream (which comes with the forgotten order) and the cashier, the same one who is the reason I wasted time, gas, and a tip tells me âsorry.. you have to pay $2 extraâ. đ„Ž Some members of society were meant to our doctors.
