The service and food was good. The pork fried rice didn't taste like normally it does. I recommend this takeout. I really liked the service.

What a bitter sweet ending to a brisk fall day. After a long relaxing walk in the trails of Staten Island, one could work up an appetite or two! That’s when we were shadowed with a lovely lake side restaurant with lovely decor that lured us all in! After settling in, we couldn’t help but notice that we were about to spend a pretty penny on dinner! What shall we do!? It’s only Thursday and payday hasn’t even arrived yet! That’s when Tacks Chinese Restaurant was brought to our attention. Having eaten here once before I knew this was the choice for us. For roughly $85 we were more than satisfied and Tacks didn’t miss a beat! From the mouth watering chicken wings to the crispy noodles with sweet duck sauce. I highly recommend this to everyone on Staten Island. Everyone was able to have their own fortune cookie after as well. Did I mention they now take Credit Card in store as well! Score!!!!! i will definitely be ordering from them again! 10/10!

Will not recommend this place to anyone. They charge for any little changes to your food. .50 cent here, 1 dollar extra. I asked for a combination platter if I can get a can soda instead or pay extra, they said no. you need to buy it a full price for $1.50. I understand things have gone up, but accommodated to people who can not eat pork. Stay far away.

Very disgusting food. The owners try to get every penny out of you. They are awful. I ordered food without vegetables but wanted the vegetables put into something else but they could NoT do it. The are full of crap The original Tacks restaurant was much better
Far cry from the Tacks of years ago… the dish had sooo much oil that it was seeping over the top. I have have had chicken and broccoli before from numerous places & never saw this much oil from one small dish.

Terrible customer service. I waited over one hour and 15 and driver was lost as well. First time and last time ordering from there. If could give zero stars I would. Save the headaches and your money highly recommend not to order from there.
