Great small Thai restaurant! The Mocking Bird's Nest was especially very good.

Great little Thai spot with tasty food at reasonable prices. The drunken noodles were delightful. They were able to make it without fish sauce. Would definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. It was the first time for me but my friend Pat has been there multiple times (her new fav spot!). The store is owned by an elderly couple and I believe they run it on their own. We got take out. We shared the chicken curry puff , amazing with the cucumber sauce! I got the chicken drunken noodles and it was actually one of the best I’ve had so far (even compared with the city), yes it’s mildly spicy but I love spicy so it had a nice kick and i was happy that it was so flavorful and not heavy! Pat had the massaman curry and peanut noodles, also delicious! All meals were fresh and made me feel like this is how they would cook at home. We would definitely go back and keep recommending it !

I was really disappointed with my experience at Talay. I ordered the Pad Ki Mow (Drunken Noodles) and it was extremely spicy even though there was no notice of spice level anywhere on the menu — and the smell was honestly unpleasant, almost like something had gone bad. The Massaman Curry had an overpowering cinnamon flavor that didn’t taste right, and the Tom Yum shrimp soup only came with three small shrimp. The chicken curry puffs were the only thing I actually enjoyed — those were tasty and well made. The Talay Dumplings (chicken and shrimp) were just okay, and the Mango juice didn’t taste like mango at all, more like generic nectar juice. Overall, I expected much better for the price and reputation. Definitely not ordering again.

The chicken Pad Se Eew (flat noodle) tastes so much better than I expected, own by elderly couple. Food taste much better than expensive Thai restaurants in Manhattan.

Maybe one of the best pad thai ever had and I've ordered it maybe a hundred times at different restaurants. A little sweet, a little spice, prefecture balanced and fresh. A true gem of a local mom and pops. I definitely will be ordering again. Friendly service. Gentlemen at the register even came dining out to make sure I had napkins (sighs). So caring. Thank you Talay!

This area has wonderful restaurants but it’s on the pricier side. Meh, this whole borough, city, is expensive. All in all, good music, decent seating, restaurant owners are lovely, and the food is okay

it was 2 blocks away from the outlet mall and very delish. They prices are kinda pricey but the service and food makes up for it. i got the chicken curry puffs and the viet iced coffee. The coffee was good and sweet and the puffs were flavorful. the cucumber sauce was refreshing. i went around midday and it was pretty empty so i was able to sit inside.
