This is my favorite restaurant in Staten Island. They food is always excellent, the staff are friendly and attentive. The Drinks are always good. You are never rushed to leave. The prices are also good compared to other places.

Food has always been excellent regardless of what I’ve ordered. Service is always great and friendly. Do miss the cheese chunks they used to serve with the bread. New lunch menu is outstanding and really generous portions for the fixed price. Highly recommended.

Service and Food was over the top! The dimmed light, created a nice night out to your loved one or a small group. A little quite but not too quite. You like the service and the food is worth to come back again for! Unfortunately the demand of some dishes is pretty high to be sold out of hot dishes, we went in for lobster-special, but no more lobsters. I settled for the lamb shank which was still worth it! The marina for the fried calamari was tasteful! The stuff mushrooms with goat cheese was amazing! So what they didn't have what you wanted originally.. the friendly staff that services this community will make you comeback again and again! Hope to see guys soon!! Don't forget you owe us a lemon drop!

First time there, place was very clean Food was excellent our server Alex was very nice , friendly and funny. We had family style dinner 5 choices for main course to choose from, unlimited wine, beer and sangria for only 70.00 per person well worth it. People should give it a shot!

Great restaurant 10 minutes from the Verrazzano Bridge! Easy on and off.There is lots of street parking and they also offer valet parking.There is a full bar and plenty of seating. The lunch special is amazing, great choices for $19.The food was plentiful and delicious. I almost finished my paella before I remembered to snap a photo. Ditto the delicious coffeeThe staff is friendly and efficient. You are welcome to linger or get right back on the road.Definitely recommend this clean, charming place.

Mother's Day. As usual, all expectations are met. A good table available within 5 minutes, and the meal was divine. Quite busy, but service and food were on time and delicious. Special menu for the holiday, but sufficient choices available.

Love this place….we’ve been coming here for a couple of years now. It is a very welcoming and relaxing dining experience. We never feel rushed and the staff are very attentive. Food is good also.
Taverna never fails to deliver. Since moving to NJ several months back, we still make the trip as it's one of our favorite restaurants. The staff and owner, both aces. They have the best paella I have eaten in the US and the socarrat (aka the crust at the bottom of the skillet) is probably one of my favorite things in the world to eat. Simple pleasures are always the best.

First time dining at Taverna on the Bay. Welcoming experience and ambiance. Service was a bit slow Our meal was delicious! Oysters, tuna, filet of sole. My expresso martini was made to perfection. We will definitely return.
