We went for breakfast. It’s a very cozy restaurant with few tables. The food was delicious. We got onion and mushroom omelet, jalapeño omelet and breakfast royal. The omelets came with home fries. They made the home fries crispy for us. The waitress was very pleasant.

I had a really disappointing experience at Kova. I was added to the waitlist and told it would be about 15 minutes and would be called when the table was ready. After waiting double the time, I went back inside to check — only to find out they had crossed off my name and seated someone else instead. No apology, no explanation, just a shrug.
It was incredibly frustrating and disrespectful to be overlooked like that, especially after waiting patiently. This kind of disorganization and lack of accountability is unacceptable for any establishment, won’t be returning.

A small but cozy place to have a brunch. Came with a friend and we enjoyed our food. We ordered cheeseburger and egg Benedict. Cheeseburger was good but definitely the fries were the bomb. The egg Benedict came with grilled potatoes which was also delicious!

I visited two days in a row and was really impressed with the food it was consistently delicious. While there was minimal interaction with the staff, they were efficient, and the service was quick. The menu offers a great variety of both food and drinks. I highly recommend this place! Some of my favorites were the crème brûlée latte, cappuccino, beef roti, hash browns, turkey bacon, and iced coffee.

Sooo DelisiousTgis was our first visit and we all were delightfully surprised how good it was!! I got the pancakes and the spinach benedict..Pancakes are aaamazing a must try if you come here!! Coffee was great also..Prices are also Great for the quality I wipp be coming back!!

I come to The Kova every weekend because the food is always fantastic, and it’s truly one of my favorite spots on Staten Island. However, during my recent visit, the service left me feeling disappointed. We sat down, pulled out a notebook and laptop to get a bit of work done while waiting, but instead of taking our order, the staff proceeded to serve other guests who had arrived after us. When they eventually came over, they informed us that using a laptop wasn’t allowed, even though we explained it was just to pass the time until our food arrived.
As someone who visits weekly, I’ve come to expect the same warm and attentive service that initially made this place feel special. This experience made me question the consistency of service quality here. While I hope it was just a one-off, it did feel disheartening as a loyal customer to be overlooked and restricted without much consideration.
I’ll still come back because the food is worth it, but I hope this feedback encourages a bit more thoughtfulness in service. Loyal customers notice when things change, and I’d love to see The Kova get back to its usual, welcoming atmosphere.

Being from Cleveland Ohio, I was staying nearby and googled a good place to get a vegan breakfast and The Kova came up. While not actually known for having vegan options, the staff was so incredibly kind in offering me a few things such as avovado toast and homefries. It was a simple meal and gesture for them but it made my day. I never like to be "that person", but they went out of their way to accommodate me and it meant so much! Thank you for the delicious breakfast and for the hospitality.

The Kova a is cozy little spot. We found Kova online they had a tasty menu so we decided to give it a go. I had brunch with my besty and they did not disappoint. Great service. We both ordered the eggs Benedict and it was Yum also French toast with fresh fruit on the side.
