Local bar / Restaurant just like the name. It has a happy hour crowd from the neighborhood. If there is a local sports game on TV, It gets a bit lively and loud. Overall great neighborhood place.

We live near The Local, but this was our first time there. We’ll be going back. The food (a very fine variety to choose from) was delicious, freshly prepared, and definitely made to order. The service, especially Frank our server, was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. The place itself is attractive, spacious, and a calm place to enjoy a meal. It’s couple friendly, kid friendly, family friendly, and available for larger gatherings. This is a great part of our community and a great place to eat in Staten Island.

My Wife and I had a delicious brunch at the at this fine establishment! The strip steak and eggs I ordered were extra delicious, as were the eggs Benedict Marge had. Our meals came with breakfast sausage, bacon, and crispy home fries. We highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent food and service!

My family went to Sunday Brunch yesterday for Father's Day and we were treated so wonderfully. And you can never go wrong with the food. We love The Local and come back to it several times a year. It's very cozy and has just a great atmosphere, with even greater restaurant staff!
