Very nice restaurant, cozy and stylish. They have very friendly, caring and helpful staff. I will say maybe it was little too loud with music and people talking but overall birthday party went well. We ordered some appetizers. LOLLIPOP CHICKEN WINGS (5) (honey Sriracha, blue cheese) 19$ were good , tender and crispy outside but bit on the spicy side. FRIED BURRATA $16 BABY ARUGULA, BASIL OIL, TOAST - juicy inside, crispy outside, arugula was sprinkled with tasty sauce. Oysters on the Half Shell were fresh, served with let and spicy sauce, but if you will come before 7 PM ( I believe just on weekdays 4-7pm) you can get 1$ each ( was offered on menu). BEET TARTARE $20 RED & YELLOW BEETS, SMASHED AVOCADO, TAJIN SPICED TARO CHIPS- very blend and not really flavored or seasoned. Caesar salad - very tasty. Really disappointment was STEAK FRITES $49
NY PRIME, PEPPERCORN COGNAC SAUCE, CRISPY FRIES. Ordered medium rare- delivered raw, marbled with congestive tissue very hard to chew. BLOOM BURGER $19 GLUTEN FREE OATS & SUNFLOWER SEEDS, LETTUCE, TOMATO, SPECIAL SAUCE, FRIES, POTATO BUN- interesting to try, honestly, I don’t like it, will not order it again. The other burger was good average. Star dishes : BAKED WILD SALMON creamy dijon sauce, roasted potatoes
$34.00 and DOUBLE CUT PORK CHOP bone-in chop, cherry peppers, mashed potatoes
$36.00. Highly recommend! In addition I will advise you to order cocktails!

It all started with valet parking and a welcoming atmosphere. The entrance displayed was “Baby Shower Theme” and everything was cute and fun.

We were a group of 6 on a Wed. night, all first time diners and The Richmond did not disappoint. The food was delicious, no complaints at all. Starter highlights were spicy calamari, pork & cabbage dumplings and fish tacos. We were excited to try the mussels but they had just run out. Mains included the Short rib Mac & cheese, baked wild salmon and the spicy vodka pacchera. All delicious and nice portions. The green with envy and spicy Margherita cocktails were yummy. The bill seemed reasonable for all we got so no complaints there either. The valet parking offered was appreciated too since parking is tough down there. Highly recommend and we look forward to going back!

Okay. Let's start with the obvious. The food was fantastic. Great appetizers, great meals, great desert. So - you'd be crazy not to come to dinner here. Then you add in the beautiful outdoor patio and that elevates the experience to an ever higher level. But honestly? The cherry on top for this place is the amazing service. We had fantastic service from start to finish. Dana and her coworkers were such a blast to be around and they really made us feel welcome and made our night one to remember. They all clearly love working together and it shined through in their remarkable work ethic. Great staff, great food, great environment. Why are you still reading this review instead of booking a reservation???

I use to love the food here but the prices do not correlate with what you’re getting/the service.

Firstly, the service just isn’t that good.

Second, we were brought two sadly looking toasted slices of bread with a mystery oil. I was so confused. The oil was like clear with a yellow tint like lemon juice

I asked what is this? The server looked ag me like I was an idiot snd said olive oil. Me and my party decided it could be diluted olive oil but it legit had no taste. It tasted like water. It was even lighter than canola, vegtable oil.
Idk whay this mystery substance was but it was insulting.

Then after a little, I asked if we could have some butter and the server told me “we don’t have butter”. Lol ummmm okie ? There’s no butter in a restaurant with french and american preparations?

Also ordered iced tea and they only had unsweetened which i dont mind but i’m not sure how a place that makes so many different specialty cocktails, wouldn’t have simple syrup lying around

With entrees upwards of $30-40 dollars and drinks almost 20… you can’t supply actual olive oil or butter?? Or decent bread? This was inexcusable. Especially the gaslighting about what olive oil is. Maybe for someone who has never cooked or eaten at a decent place, traveled etc wouldn’t know the difference but i expect more from somewhere that the bill is always costly.

Our food is always good here but the experience was pretty odd and lackluster to justify the outing. There didn’t appear to be any management around.

Charming restaurant with delicious food. 10 minute taxi or 30 minutes on SIR. Take a ride on the Staten Island Ferry, dine well and take the ferry back to Manhattan. A lovely summer's evening.

This is an excellent restaurant. Food and all ingredients are of top-notch quality. Good diversity in the menu and excellent value. Great bar and dining room atmosphere. Outstanding service all the way around. Staten Island needs to support and patronize restaurants like this.

We went shortly after they opened for an early dinner. Service was terrific! The food terrific as well! Had 6 oysters as an app. Plumb, sweet and tasty! For entrees we had the Frenched Chicken and the steak and frites special(inclusive of a martini). Both cooked perfectly and delicious! Decaf espresso, carrot cake and port were the perfect finish!

Always outstanding there. The make you feel so welcome. The food is amazing and the drinks!! OMG! It's so good our 9yr old requested to go for her bday dinner. Our neighbors are all hooked from our feedback. You just try!!

Excellent food and service in a beautiful restaurant. Attentive wait staff. Highly recommended. Update 2024: food still excellent and the atmosphere is comfortable and beautiful. Our server wasn't up to the standards we expect from The Richmond.

This was a great place to catch up with the girls. They have this martini and steak frites deal that was amazing. My server was very knowledgeable in wine and helped me picked the perfect one for our taste. I must go again for brunch!
