It’s a very cute set up and looks welcoming. Took a little while to get seated because they weren’t really paying attention because it was not busy. The food was meh but maybe it’s because what I ordered. I got a chicken parm with penne vodka which includes a $3 charge because I guess it’s not a staple of the restaurant. That should’ve been a red flag not to get it. I didn’t really like it. The pasta was fine but I didn’t really like the chicken, it didn’t have the crisp I wanted. The food was warm but not as hot as I would’ve liked it. My mother got spaghetti and meatballs and she thought it was bland. The waitress was sweet, but new so she forgot to give us bread until we asked and didn’t ask how the food was.Parking: It was easy to find parking but that could be cause of the early time we went.

The food was a bit pricey and not tasty. I had the calamari, chicken Parm and a burger. This was a reasonably priced, good place to eat. I am sorry to say the place has atmosphere and great service but is not what it used to be.

We ordered the clam pie as part of our appetizers. It was great! Came to celebrate a special occasion. The food was good. Surprised they didn't serve us bread with our entrees. The restaurant was super busy on a Saturday night. We had to find street parking because their parking lot was full.

Go to the Road House--you're going to have a real good time!If you are driving there, be sure you keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel :>) Their parking lot is of limited size, but it isn't usually hard to find parking on the street--it's not like it's in Midtown Manhattan. The food and service is very good and it feels like a genuine NYC Italian restaurant. They claim their meatballs have been named "best in NYC" though they don't say by who. They are oversized and a side order includes just two, but that is equal to about 4 regular-sized meatballs. I recommend getting them, although you may well find your entry fills you up plentifully. The place is old-school Italian in that way as well!My only minor rap against them is that their lasagna isn't made with meat sauce, just marinara and cheese. It's good, but my mother, who was born of Italian-born parents, always made hers with meat sauce, so I have come to prefer it like that. This is a mainstay for Wagner College students and they get a discount here, so if you can include one in your party.Let it roll, baby, rollLet it rollAll night long.(Or at least until they close)

Food took a while to come out (given we were a group of 22), and we only got pizza. 10/10, absolutely delicious. Cauliflower pizza was one of the best slices of any pizza i've ever had, but I also highly reccomend the oyster and proscuttio and artichoke.

Massively overpriced for very "meh" food. Waitress was lovely.Handicap beware, my elderly family barely got up the stairs due to lack of proper handrail.

I have passed this restaurant so many times and had the opportunity to try them out. The food was so good and the service was great. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for some great Italian food

Traffic on our route was exceptionally terrible. By the time we got even close to Staten Island, having traveled from Long Island, we were ready to stop! We did a quick search of our area and ended up at Road House! From the oldest (in her 80s) to the youngest (in their 50s), all were pleased. Options to order simple ala carte items helped those less hungry. The meatball salad was delicious! Everyone left very satisfied, especially since the accident on the Staten Island Expressway had cleared!

Went on Sunday. Noticed they had a happy hour. When I looked at my bill I didn't notice any discounts on the drink. Called the next day to speak with a manager or owner neither was on the premises. Asked about the bill they said had to be at the bar for happy hour. Told them 2 of my party were seniors and not able to sit at the bar it was like to bad. I find that to be age discrimination. I can understand sitting at a establishment that is actually a bar during happy hr but not at a restaurant. I had even made a comment that most restaurant that I have eaten in the city acknowledge happy hr at the table. Wouldn't even order take out from here.
