Menu had no mention of pesto on burger, ordered and found pesto on it, severe nut allergy, could of been killed, upon mentioning to server, she insisted it was on menu that it came with pesto, it was not on menu, server rude, thank god I lifted top of burger, before biting into it, I would of been in hospital, rude staff, no concern, that I could of gotten really I’ll, had I bit into pesto, many people have nut allergies, should be on menu what items comes with pine nuts, after sent back, ordered one without pesto, but due to rudeness of staff, and them being unconcerned, I didn’t eat the second burger, was afraid it would be contaminated, they seem annoyed and rude, wasn’t gonna risk cross contamination, or spite from owner, I did pay for second burger even tho I wouldn’t eat it, menu should clearly say ingredients , many people have food allergies, dissapointed to say least, server was arguing menu said pesto, which it clearly didn’t, had menu in hand, rude, will never returm

Always wanted to try the place out, never did till last night ….will definitely be back , and look forward to next years events …it was fantastic……enjoyed it so much .
Beautiful Saturday nights especially when there’s music. Love the beer that they serve and the atmosphere is one of a kind. Nice to sit down somewhere on the grass field and sip the beer while listening to the music. Wish they keep it all year round
Fun place to step back in time and appreciate an historic district. From Atlas Obscura: WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU lose your county seat? Stop time. At least, that’s how Historic Richmond Town dealt with the end of their hey day as Staten Island’s commercial and civic center. Originally a crossroads settlement, Richmond Town became the center for business and government on Staten Island in the 1700s, bustling with blacksmiths and shoemakers and court sessions. But by the time SI became a part of the five New York City boroughs in 1898, the once happening town found itself in a gradual decline. So they stopped moving forward!
Nothing really here to see, just bunch of houses and history. If you are not a big fan of any of those don't visit.
Enter the Time Machine and experience life in Colonial Dutch and English America. The oldest schoolhouse in North America, The Voorleezer House is my favorite; stroll through the gravel paths and enter the homes and businesses of the 17th and 18th centuries. Many interesting events take place in the Village (Wine Tastings, Food Fests, Battle re-enactments, etc) Be sure to enjoy homemade ice cream at the famed “Eger’s” (a Staten Island fav for approximately 100 years) at the 1920s Diner (a set from Empire Boardwalk). It’s good old fashioned fun in the ??!
Richmond town provides the visitor with a chance to travel back to a simpler time when just about everything was hand made. The volunteers there recreate the environment of the early days of what we now know as New York City. The tavern takes you back in tine through music and refeshments of the 17th and 18th century and the buildings and home that have been restored help you to appreciate the many conveniecnes that we take for granted today. The fair in the sumer and the labor day weekend festival offer plemty to do. Place Richmond town on your list of locations to visit.
This is an event wirth attending. Price of $10 admission ws high. They did offer discount for veterans. Quite a bit to see. You will need time. Parking is a challenge. Lots of vendors. Live music was great. Plenty of food and thngs for kids to do. Lots of free items from vendors.
