The Vanderbilt at South Beach

The service was outstanding; the food was absolutely delicious. The only distraction was that with the high ceiling and nothing to absorb the sounds it was loud. That’s my only reason for 4 stars.

We have had two celebrations of life at the South Fin Grill and the venue, staff and food were all spectacular. I would highly recommend planning an event there or even just enjoying a lovely lunch or dinner. Brittany the event planner couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive, she was just lovely and attended to our every need. In two words, JUST GO!!!

We not only held my daughter’s Bridal Shower at the Vanderbilt last June 2023, we just had her Baby Shower there on October 5th, 2024 as well. Both experiences were EXCEPTIONAL! The staff was amazing. Kudos to Amanda, Brittany, Catherine and especially John (for going over and above). This cast of extraordinary personnel were like-minded and interchangeable. There were no worries of ideas changing or promises of services being broken. They all made it a point to be available at our convenience. Everything was spectacularly presented, from the table settings, to the bar, to the elegant dessert tables, et al. It was a wonderful experience and a great pleasure to work with them all. They made two mundane parties into magnificent showtimes that will be talked about by family and friends for years to come! I am sincerely grateful for all your ideas, assistance and absolute cooperation! I cannot wait for our next event…🩵🥂🍾

On July 27th, 2024 We host a surprise brunch party for my mom’s 80th birthday ..Vanderbilt is an elegant place specially during summer time with the Ocean view(breathtaking).
The food and service outstanding..they handhold you through the entire process! couldn’t think of a better place to hold a venue.
Britney is fantastic! she helped finalize everything the week before taking the stress off and making sure every detail was perfect. Britney and her staff s truly cares about helping you out and made the experience so special..!!

I never ate there I just work there sometimes, it's really a gorgeous place for all kinds of parties and there is a beautiful seashore vista on the boardwalk

It is very nice. On the boardwalk of South Beach, clean area for kids, weddings, etc. Nearby playground with sprinklers, bathroom area, kasebo, Oceanfront view, good parking, bus transportation, easy to find, the a dolphin water structure, also, the food is great. You won't be disappointed.

There are no words to describe how perfect my baby shower at The Vanderbilt was, and it's all thanks to the amazing Events team and staff. Catherine was our event coordinator and she was such a pleasure to work with. She was always available to answer my millions of questions, super accommodating with everything, especially when we needed to change the floor plan a few times, and most importantly, super kind! She made planning this special moment in my life extremely easy and fun. The food was incredible, the staff was top notch and the venue was just beautiful. We have heard nothing but incredible reviews from our family and friends. They said it was the best baby shower they've ever been too and we owe that to the Vanderbilt. Don't sleep on this venue, it's an incredible one! Thank you to Catherine, and the staff for making my baby shower dreams come true!

We had my daughter's coastal themed sweet 16 at the Vanderbilt as she loves the beach. After looking at a few venues decided the Vanderbilt would fit our theme best. We also wanted to have access to outdoor locations for pictures. We worked with Carmela who was great, she met with us several times during the process to make sure all our needs were met and even after the event she was still available to us. We recieved many compliments about the venue and the food. The Arirang fried rice and chocolate fountain were favorites of the guests

We had a birthday party for 33 guests at the South Fin Grill last week. Magnificent view, food and service! Brittany was wonderful in all aspects of planning for this party.
We definitely recommend this restaurant for dining and special occasions.

I just had my dream wedding at the Vanderbilt on 7/12 and it was a blast all my guest are still talking about it! The staff was an amazing and very attentive, my maitre d Brittany and Jon were amazing! Brittany is the best party planner ever she answered my every need and call, the food was great especially cocktail hour people are still talking about the burger sliders, I would highly recommend this venue for next event

Great event space! We used the deck space in the restaurant and was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of our sports league. Food was delicious and the staff was super accommodating!! We will be back next year!

A bit high $ but you paying for the Location And atmosphere the food is fresh and service is crisp if you're in the area or on the beach worth a try

If I can give this place a zero I would. They were so quick to take our deposit money during Covid and promised the 2k would be credited to a future event. When I moved the date of my wedding date due to covid and death in family, they automatically cancelled my credit without telling me, and wouldn’t allow me to use it towards a future date. They’re thieves and scammers. Not to also mention the way the operations coordinator Margaret speaks on the phone is disgusting, very rude with no minimum communication skills. Vanderbilt, Oaks country club, grand hall- apparently same ownership and management. Will be going through smalls court to get my money back. Think twice before booking or putting your money in. There’s many places out there where you can get your money’s worth and get better treatment/service.

The staff is professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their support and dedication made the planning process seamless and stress-free.
