The Vanderbilt at South Beach

Went to Deck The Halls holiday event last night. Was disappointed, The room did not have any holiday decorations at all, wasn’t festive in any way. Buffet dinner was ok, there weren’t any appetizers, not on the table or a buffet before dinner. Desert tables were cookies, like type you’d buy in ShopRite , fruit, and a chocolate fountain with different things to dip. Drinks were good but small.
But we did have a very attentive server who we tipped well.

Our wedding at this venue was nothing short of magical. From the breathtaking scenery to the beautifully designed spaces, everything created the perfect backdrop for the most important day of our lives. The team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was flawless — we truly felt cared for and supported every step of the way. Our guests are still talking about how stunning and seamless the entire celebration was. If you want a wedding day that feels like a dream come to life, this is the place where it happens.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience planning our engagement party at the Vanderbilt. Everything went so smoothly, our families had the best time, and I felt completely stress-free throughout the entire process. Cathy went above and beyond to make sure I felt seen, heard, and cared for every step of the way.

Vanderbilt at South Beach is simply the best place to have any type of event, from a wedding to a birthday party or a shower. I have had a few parties there and I just had my daughter’s baby shower last week. Everything is just perfect. The party rooms are beautiful, the food is great and the staff is the best. Brittany is the most amazing event planner, very professional, on top of everything making sure everything is perfect. She is always so respectful and friendly, making you feel like you’re family. Our experience at the Vanderbilt was exceptional and I highly recommend it for any type of event.

The Vanderbilt never disappoints. We had Thanksgiving dinner there as we have for the past few years and the food was extraordinary and the staff was amazing. I highly recommend.

I've attended many events (both internal and private) at the Vanderbilt and it's always cool to be here. Love the beachside feel, the view of the bridge, the staff, and the food. I'll definitely be back.

I had the pleasure of DJ'ing multiple events here and the staff is always so accommodating. The food is great and being the only beachside venue on the island makes it a never-ending pleasure to spin here. Can't wait for the next one!

We recently hosted our mom’s 70th birthday celebration at The Vanderbilt on Staten Island, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was phenomenal. They were attentive, warm, and always a step ahead. They anticipated our needs and made thoughtful adjustments in real time to ensure everything went smoothly.

A special mention goes to Brittany, who was truly exceptional. She guided us throughout the planning process with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Her support made the entire event feel seamless and stress-free.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed it. The overall atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, making it the perfect place for such a meaningful celebration.

This venue not only does weddings but also holiday events! I went for the Halloween event & they did an amazing job! They immerse you into the theme as soon as you arrive! The staff was dressed up, the venue was decorated, and cocktail hour had a whole skeleton for the chacuterie. It was open bar the whole night and a 3 course meal.

Had an absolutely amazing time at the Halloween party (‘The Slaughterhouse Ball’ event) this past weekend! The experience started the moment you arrived, with spooky characters greeting you at the valet - and the decorations were awesome. The food was great and themed (menu names were really creative!). It was fun to see the costumes people had put together - I’ll be upping my game for next year for a shot at the costume contest! 😜

Had an amazing time at their Halloween party last night!! Decorated to perfection and the DJ was great! Love the costume contest they did as well, made the night so much fun!

I see many good reviews, but sometimes you need to pay VERY close attention to the bad ones. You're promised everything when you plan your event, but you get awful, unorganized, sloppy service & more. Be careful where you spend your $, because this place is TRASH!!
