We ordered takeout several times and also dined in at Yosuki Sushi in 2025. It's a typical small Japanese restaurant like the ones you often find on shopping plazas. It has a pretty, minimalistic decor, and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Takeout orders were always ready exactly on time. Dine-in service was ok, though it could be more attentive.
The regular sushi rolls are very fresh, flavorful, with little rice, and taste great. The special rolls are the real highlight - they are delicious. Our favorites were Tuna Lover Roll, Summer Roll, Twin Tower Roll, Fantastic Roll, and Holiday Roll, though all others we tried were also very good. The teriyaki Chicken was juicy and flavorful, my daughter loved it and finished the entire plate. Appetizers we tried Pork Gyoza - excellent Pork Shumai - unremarkable Beef Negimaki - excellent! Warm, juicy, with tender, not chewy beef Tuna Tartare - a bit disappointing. It was essentially large tuna chunks on a bed of avocado with a thin layer of sauce spread on the plate. Tuna Tartare should be more than just tuna cubes. Make the cuts finer, mix in some dressing, lime juice, sesame seeds, cucumber, etc. to make it a distinct and balanced dish. For dessert, the Tempura Ice Cream and Green Tea Mochi were fine, nothing special. The tempura could be crunchier.
Overall, Yosuki Sushi is a solid neighborhood Japanese place with fresh sushi and excellent special rolls. We’ll definitely return, and we can easily recommend it for sushi staples.

Food was good but service was really cold. There wasn’t any sense of friendliness or quality service. Didn’t end up tipping since I reserve that for good service, waitress made a big scene and confronted us and told us to never come back.
Edit to reply to owner: Dined here with about 4 people, during lunch time on 9/16/25. There was no rush hour. The service just wasn’t friendly. Nothing I would leave a tip over.
The waitress confronted us about the tip saying it was mandatory and we explained we didn’t love the service and that tipping isn’t mandatory. She replied and said “okay well don’t come here again”. I’m a petty fair person - I gave the food a 5/5 but docked the service.

This sushi spot has been my go-to for anything sushi or asian cuisine related. Not only do they make fresh and tasty sushi, their Asian dishes are pretty delicious. Originally my girlfriend and I wanted a quick sushi fix so we tried this place out since it’s not too far from where we live. Turns out this place is a hidden gem. Staff is very nice and accommodating, atmosphere and environment is clean and aesthetic with great BGM or ambience. I highly recommend the teriyaki chicken or fish if you are looking for a nice rice dish. I am still on a mission to try out all the special rolls on the menu but so far all the rolls have been delicious.

Yosuki Sushi is an aesthetically pleasing restaurant that is clean & spacious. The fish is fresh and I love their appetizers and special rolls. My favorite appetizer is the tuna tacos with wasabi mayo. It’s absolutely delicious and something you won’t find in most sushi restaurants. I also love the fact that they sell cocktails and they’re pretty delicious and strong too! Came here twice in one week, from the other side of the island, so that says a lot and I’m definitely going to return! Met the owner Steven and he’s very nice. I hope his restaurant continues to do well.
Special rolls I ordered and recommend are: OMG roll, Tango roll, King Toro roll and Twin Tower roll. All were delicious!
