Absolutely amazing!!! Zara really is incredible to dine in and take out. I’ve done both. The staff is very attentive. My family and I have loved every dish. I’m a bit of a hummus snob and I’m just going to say it - best hummus!!, bread!! and Sheppard salad I’ve ever had!!! The feta is so fresh. I’m an original loyal fan of Sahara on Coney Island Ave. IYKYK. This has them beat!! The lamb gyro , salmon shish, lebni, steak, chicken literally everything !!!

First time trying this restaurant and it’s safe to say it’s worth the trip to New York. They have plenty of parking spots, food is top notch and friendly employees. Breakfast highly recommended anyone thinking about visiting this restaurant. Definitely coming here for dinner!!

Came here on a whim driving through Staten Island from JFK to Jersey and it was worth the stop. They handed us a free order of bread which was delicious. I had the Zara salad and a Branzini. The fish was cooked perfectly and I haven't had a fish that fresh in a long time. Loved the Zara salad with the walnuts piled high. If I didn't live across the country, I would come to this place often. Thanks for the wonderful dinner!

Great service. There is plenty of food. Nice family atmosphere. I would recommend the mixed grill plates. I enjoyed the chicken kebab and the beef kebab the most.

Delicious restaurant. Had a great time. My order was huge. I wish I got an appetizer of dips but next time I definitely will. This restaurant is where the old Perkins was. The windows are huge and the seating is modern.

The food wasn’t what I would expect for the price. Plus they force you to pay an 18% gratuity regardless of whether you like the food and service or not. Furthermore my bill came out to $150.60 with the forced gratuity. I gave the guy $150.00. He insisted I pay the additional $0.60. I gave him a dollar told him keep the change and that will be my last time ever going to that spot.The food was not that good the music was too loud and the lighting too bright. They approach you with a bottle of Poland spring to start but they don’t tell you it’s $5.50 for the table when you can get free chilled tap water. Thank god I asked where is the tap water. The guy looked at me like I committed a crime. And that was for starters.The salads and the desserts while expensive were the only redeeming features at this place but even that is painful when you can go to mikes diner down the road and get better food and better service without the arm twisting for a $25 tip on an already inflated bill.I do not recommend this place. This place is a waste of your time and money. Go to that new halal place over by south Ave and forest. Or that Mediterranean store over by the Burger King near port Richmond and forest. You will find less expensive options at those locations have better flavor.Btw. I had ZARA’s lamb sauté. It tasted like liver. I’m expecting lamb and I get liver; then the guy strong arms me for a really nice gratuity. I should change my rating to 1 star on these guys. But I have to be fair. The desert was nice and so was the balloon bread and salads. But they will never see me again.Parking: They had like six free spots in the parking lot and a couple of spots on the block if you are lucky. But don’t bother. It’s a waste of time

Delicious amazing. Superb. Incredible legit just amazing. I had the best experience ever it was such a blessing to be able to try such incredible food with my husband and such a sweet day like Valentine’s Day. We had a few takeaways, which was that we prefer balloon bread versus pita bread, that the rice was the best kind of rice we’ve ever had. And lastly, that we have to take our loved ones to this place. it was such a blessing to be able to experience Turkish cuisine. We feel so happy and we cannot wait to go back. delicious.
