Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Interior of room was poorly done. Hosts were absolutely no help regarding hiking areas and provided no information about the house and grounds. That would have been appreciated since we chose this place because it was a very old house. Windows could not be opened so the entire upstairs was very stuffy despite having beautiful weather. Road noise was significant. Would not stay here again.

I cannot recommend these caterers enough. We had a celebration for over 150 people, requiring multiple main courses and side dishes. From the beginning, Kimberly and her team were willing and gracious teammates, helping us figure out menu and quantities, working out some rather unique and challenging logistics, and then delivering some marvelous and delicious food, all without a hitch. Truly a pleasure to work with. Could not recommend them more highly!!!

We held a dinner for 25 people at the Elm Rock Inn. Chef Mark created a five course Mediterranean themed meal. Each course was paired with a different wine which complimented the food. Chef Mark prepared an excellent menu of dishes from various regions of the Mediterranean. He and his staff did an excellent job of preparing and serving everything. The inn is comfortable and welcoming. The dining room is large enough that we all felt comfortable, standing and talking before the meal and seated at the tables when it was time to dine. Service was not rushed and was timed so that no one felt either neglected or rushed. Unfortunately it was raining so we could not use the charming patio that looks out over a lawn with a fire-pit a short distance away. Maybe next time we'll get a chance to enjoy it as we hope we can return for another event..

Marc always does a great job preparing food and wine dinners. At this event, the brown butter pasta with wild mushrooms was to die for! Our entrees included a choice of braised brisket, chicken or salmon. I am not a big fan of brisket, but this was phenomenal. I've had brisket at many BBQ joints from NY to Memphis to Texas. While this was braised and not BBQ, it was the best version of brisket I have ever had! The entire evening was spectacular!

My daughter had her wedding at Elmrock in November 2019. All I can say is that it was spectacular and memorable. She had a small wedding with just 20 people but she still wanted something special. We arrived at 3 and Amy was waiting for us and Tesha helped us unload the cars. When I entered the venue, I was prepared to give instructions but to my amazement everything was beautifully set up and every detail was done. This was the beginning and truthfully exactly how the whole weekend went. I am on a gluten free diet and low salt diet and Chef Mark accommodated me for dinner and breakfast. Amy was very mindful of my restrictions and made certain that I was well taken care of. The venue is beautiful , the food delicious and the the service beyond excellent. As I said Amy and Tesha are top notch and wonderful to work with. Everyone was so impressed and truly believed my daughter had the most wonderful wedding possible. Thank you so much for making it a dream day for her and her husband.

The food was very good. We had a fall wedding, and the large menu selection consisting of locally grown items was important to us. Kimberly helped us select our desired menu for the number of guests, and during the wedding, both the cocktail appetizers and dinner selections were excellent. Beyond the food, we felt that all other areas of catering service was lacking from Harvest Real Food Catering. Harvest Real Food had poor customer service. The information never matched up between what was on their website, in their invoices, what they said in-person and over the phone, the actions of the caterers on the wedding day, and communications following the wedding. This poor customer service led to bad communication between them and their employees. The staff were good and nice people, but they were not informed in advance about details pertaining to our wedding (e.g., the layout of tables, locations of cocktail hour). We had to speak with them a couple hours prior to the ceremony to arrange setup and they pulled us aside during the reception to ask about schedules and discuss prices. These were not the times to discuss planning when we had been in communication with management for six months. We also had an issue with the transparency of their prices. We were not aware of what services we were getting for different levels of pricing. Even though we spoke with them many times, these miscommunications resulted in new information 1 week before the wedding up until actions during and even after the wedding. Although, they conveniently arranged a meeting with the rental company to get the proper rentals for the wedding, the plates were not the correct one's (which we found out the wedding weekend) and the rental company charged us close to $300 extra for the work the catering company did not complete the night of the wedding. In the end, we do not recommend Harvest Real Food Catering for an off-site wedding.
