Very nice atmosphere in a great location. You can get any sandwich as a salad option. The chicken sandwich I had was incredible!! The chicken was juicy and well seasoned, the bacon was thick and perfectly cooked, not rubbery and not too crunchy when I bit into it. The sauce was, literally, finger lucking good. And, as a Texan, I can vouch for the brisket. Perfectly cooked with great flavor and melt in your mouth texture.

Stopped in and had one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. We also had a delicious veggie sandwich and real vanilla cream soda. Great food, excellent atmosphere. Definitely, a must stop if you're in the area. We'll definitely be going back again...... and again.

Came back again the place just keeps getting better and better. This is the go to place everytime im up there. Ask for the Landman oatmeal (milk berries granola p&b just incredible) before your hike keeps you going for hours. Mimosas are always perfect with freshly squeezed OJ. Great job always.
The food was great! I had the hash 209 and the veggies were performed seasoned and cooked. I want sure what to expect with a more simplified menu, but the food came with big flavor. Definitely recommend if you're driving through or you want to stop in.

Just finished a road trip (Oct 2024) and this was one of the star finds for food. Simple luck put us in the area at about lunch time and the reviews sold the place. I'd like to think of myself as on the Foodie spectrum somewhere, try to keep my dining out options limited to owner/operator type places. This place didn't fail me.
Food was outstanding (hash with toast and eggs for me, wife had roasted veg sandwich and soup of the day, both had the crafted sodas), enough that I had to try recreating the roasted veg sandwich at home.
No clue why this place wasn't PACKED, unless it's just the cost for the area. If you can afford it, don't miss this place! Sadly, we live over 1000 miles away so won't likely be back.
