Absolutely delicious food and hot sake, and a huge bonus that it's close to home! The spider roll and shrimp lover's roll (mine) were fantastic! My boyfriend got the hhibachi combo with shrimp (I had a couple of bites and loved it) and scallops and the eel roll combo and said they were delicious too. The miso soup starter was tasty as well. It's a small place, it was comfortable, well lit and quiet on a Monday evening. We'll definitely be visiting again.

I am never one to complain and this takes time out of my day so I am writing this to warn anyone else in the same boat as me. I went here Friday for dinner. The menu clearly states to notify your waiter of any allergies. This allergy is fairly new so seeing a note like that brings me some sort of comfort as eating out with a food allergy is daunting. When I went to order, I told the waitress I could not have any dairy. She had no idea what I meant, just looked confused. I said no butter, milk, etc... I should have known then to speak with a manager or someone else. We also ordered a side of fried rice to share, I specified no butter on that either. We get the check and I see there is 'no butter' stated under my meal but not under the order of fried rice. I didn't think anything of it until the next day when I am now dealing with an inconsolable newborn (it's really her allergy but she is breastfed). You would think they would have an option for dairy allergy just so the chef knows it's not just a preference. Clearly they are not actually versed on food allergies and do not care to take them seriously. The waitress also never asked how anything was, or if we needed anything else, just brought over to-go containers and the check. I contemplated calling to notify them but I highly doubt they will care, so my purpose with writing this review is to warn others not to go here if you have an allergy.

Sushi for 2- some of the best I’ve ever had! Sushi rice was a fabulous consistency. Fresh & delicious on a Tuesday evening. I had a baby who was fussy and dropped a chopstick. Without hesitation the server was there with a fresh pair. Exceptional service! My first dining experience here but certainly not my last!

Sushi was just ok, but really disappointed in the shrimp tempura. It was literally cold and hard, like taken out of the fridge from the day before, not fresh at all! No joke! They did not even have the decency to make it right after we mentioned it. Wanted to really like this place since I am new in the area, but experience was below average.
