As a stony Brook student and a non white woman , I can’t believe I encountered racism from an Asian lady working on campus inside the SAC. She was extremely polite and respectful towards a middle aged white woman, and I thought she was a nice person. However, when I was deciding which flavors to use in my matcha latte, she abruptly interrupted me by showing me the impatience face and saying that French vanilla was not the drink. A completely different person from what I thought she was. As Asian I’m familiar with her attitude shift , some Asian are self hatred and have internalized racism and white superiority, which is so pathetic. I think this could be a study case for sociology , next time when I see this lady again I’d call her out and report it to the manager

Really should point out it’s in the middle of stony brook. This isn’t a dunkin avoid if possible. Terrible service and awful food. Truly university food.
