Their pizza is stupid good! Got a waffle fry slice. Wow!Also ... Best margherita slice I've ever had.
Great pizza. Excellent dinners to go with large portions. An excellent value.
Nice assortment of food and quinoa, brown rice and other whole grain options. No whole wheat crust for pizza! Hispanic woman wouldn't sell me a small container of whole grains with two eggs. She insisted that I had to buy the large size, which is too much for one person. I understand Spanish; I heard her whisper to the guy at the register to charge me for a large size. They put profit before customer needs and have a minimum on whole grain. Wonder if health department has any relevant regulations.
How are you gonna charge $13 for a wrap and not even listen to what goes inside? For some people Mayo ruins the meal. Would’ve considered asking for some assistance if it weren’t for the poor attitude at the counter and long wait for my incorrect food. Never again. Maybe the pizza’s good. I’ll never find out.
I never leave reviews for anywhere, good or bad, but I felt necessary to leave this one. We used them for July 4th catering , sandwiches and side salads and it was A++. Every guest went out of their way to tell us how awesome the sandwiches and food tasted, asking where it was from. We highly recommend Grist Mill and will use them again in the future. Thank you.
Stopped here for heroes on the way to watch a West Meadow beach sunset, food was great. Loved the Roast Beef panini.Went back another day for breakfast to play at West Meadow beach with my grandson and again the food was great.
Disco fries if it were a sandwich. The Jackson has chicken cutlet, waffle fries, American and mozzarella cheese, and brown gravy. It was pretty great, would have been even better served with a small cup of extra gravy for dipping!
We went months ago for a pizza pie and it was a decent pizza for 10 bucks (I guess the special for the day). We Went back today because we were in the area. Place was very busy. The wraps we tried today for the first time and they were very good and fairly priced especially with everything going on. Was pleasantly surprised. All the workers were very nice also.
We had a party today his past weekend that was catered by the Gristmill and the food was a hit and sooo Scrumptious!
Ordered the Tuscan bowl with chicken. Delicious and nutritious with veggies. I added chicken and the portion was generous. Next time I may ask for more veggies and less grain. I had this for 2 meals and added salmon that I made at home the next day and it was just as yummy.
Restaurantji Recommends
Quite simply, this is the best pizza within a 5 mile radius of my home... and I have significant pizza eating experience. We ordered 2 pies (well done), a GF cauliflower crust pie, and an order of penne ala vodka (and lots of garlic knots). Everyone raved. I'll be back for sure. A++
Worst Italian food ever! Grandma pizza was an anemic Sicilian pie-Fried raviolis were watery and boiled-swimming in cheap marinara sauce- Caesar salad was salty-chicken parm was ‘meh’The cannolis were even subparTasteless-Beyond disappointed …never again. We try to support neighborhood restaurants during this time…that being said-the establishments should reciprocate by producing a non watered down version of the food-
In the past couple of months I have fell in love with this place. Me and my family have tried nearly everything from here, the pizza, the pasta, the sandwiches, all of it. The staff here have always been so nice to us, even giving us free garlic knots once around closing time. Highly recommend trying out their pizza, best in town!!!
The best pizza in stony brook
Amazing egg sandwiches! Great lunch and pizza too! Love this place and it's all nestled in the heart of beautiful Stony Brook Village!
