I've been here many times before or after a movie at the nearby Lowe's and it's always been satisfying - that was back when I was a carefree graduate student. I just returned home after a great evening there with my wife and 8 year old child. The food was very good - I had the honey BBQ bacon chicken SuperMelt, my wife the Philly Cheese SuperMelt, and my son the Smashed burger. We all enjoyed our food including the Moz sticks appetizer and New England clam chowder. The server, Michael P, was cheerfully bright, impeccably polite, and could establish a warm connection with just about anyone! He need the photo of the Hudson River on our credit card and inquired about our hiking experiences, and suggested a nice place next time we went. He reminded me of someone from the 1950s in his polite manners yet he was likely no more than 20 years old! As I wrote earlier, I've eaten here before and haven't felt a need to write a review. After tonight's experience, I felt compelled to call him out as he was a key part of our very positive experience.Kid-friendliness: Very good with kids including and especially very little ones (under 5)
I have been to this Friendly's countless times and I rarely have issues. But unfortunately tonight didn't go so well. I had walked into the Friendly's ice cream "window" spot and ordered an ice cream soda for my dad. There were only 2 other people waiting for their ice cream orders and three workers behind the counter scooping and completing the orders. 10 minutes goes by and I still haven't received my order. 15 minutes goes by, still no order. Once it hit 20 minutes, I ended up walking out of the place, without my dads ice cream soda. And the two people in front of me were still waiting.

Horrible experience my friends granddaughter for some reason started acting up and dumped her fribble I would of cleaned it up I asked for paper towels it just kept dripping all over the floor so she took her out we decided to get food to go but didn't replace the drinks so we paid 13 dollars for drinks we never got but yet I felt bad and gave a nice tip for being ignored by waitress and waited long time never again

I get takeout ice cream a lot and tonight Brianna helped me I got the lava hunka chunk of lava ice cream and it was awesome she made it so perfect and it was just delicious. No not only Brianna but everybody there is great when I go to the takeout window for ice cream.
Still lookin for value? Look no further, family of 4 2 adults 2 kids, we all had a meal and dessert with a generous fifteen dollar tip for under 80 bucks! Food was decent and ice cream and service was great!

Never again after I go back with coupon, for just an ice cream! First, wanted pastrami sandwich for 2 days, finally did curbside pickup, & several add ons. 40 min later, I drove home, & was given a cheeseburger instead! The small piece of carmelized ginger salmon, was just a dry piece of fish. No hint of flavor. Pickles looked like they weren't deep fried yet, & told call Mgr next day. He was told I refused the coupon offered, & that my pickles were not raw. The salmon is 4oz, not small, but nothing about the dry bland aspect. Seemed annoyed I called, & took address to "send me a coupon". Very upset. The only thing good was my ice cream!

AMBER AND REBECCA deserve to be fired immediately from this location. Your behavior was atrocious on Valentines Day at the Stony Brook location.Horrible service, especially with a senior citizen. I saw a video captured of how you treated my 78 year old mom on Valentine’s Day… absolutely HORRIFYING. You’re going to get called out.You 2 women are wildly inappropriate, and hopefully learn to have some actual respect for where you work and the people you serve. You’ll be reported to corporate and blasted on all social media platforms.Seriously… Friendly’s, background check these people and do a better job.
