I love Hoshi Sushi. Their rolls are fresh, prepared and structured well, and there are many options. The employees are super friendly and accommodating. I always carry out but would love to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommend when in the mood for sushi!!

Hoshi Sushi in Stony Brook is a staple for my husband and I for well-priced fresh, tasty all-you-can-eat sushi! We visit often and take our friends here as well for a fun meal where everybody can share rolls and sashimi. If you have somebody in your party who doesnt like seafood, there are fried rice, udon, and katsu options. The beef fried rice is fantastic -- don't skip it! The green tea ice cream is also very rich, creamy, and not-too-sweet (: give Hoshi a try!!

Great service and an amazing amount of food. Always checking up on us and the temp was perfectly cool. Very nice artwork on the walls and the fish tank was nice to see.

Fresh sushi. Friendly staff. Great all you can eat sushi and kitchen items made to order. They have some tables at the back that are sunken in that are neat.

Hoshi Sushi is one of my favorite places to get all you can eat sushi in Long Island. It’s definitely worth the long drive to stone brook because for $31.99, you get all you can eat sushi with a HUGEE variety of selections that include my favorites: salmon, tuna, squid, ikura, tobiko, surf clam, and my favorite: seared salmon!!! Finding a place with all you can eat seared salmon is a dream because it is absolutely delectable. The fish is so fresh and they are pretty generous with the portions. I always get the hot tea to pair well with my sushi. The service is very prompt and fast so you never have to wait too long for the food. The hot food bar is also pretty decent with their fried calamari and beef teriyaki, which tastes great. The only problem I have is that I wish the ice cream was all you can eat too, because their green tea ice cream is soo good and the servers never let us get more than one scoop per person.

Hoshi Sushi in Stony Brook is hands-down one of the best all-you-can-eat sushi spots on Long Island. The sushi is incredibly fresh, the portions are generous, and the variety is amazing. Every roll and appetizer is made to order—not sitting around like at some buffets.
The service is outstanding—friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. You truly get a ton of food for your money, and the quality is far beyond what you’d expect at this price point.
If you’re a sushi lover looking for freshness, value, and great service—Hoshi Sushi is a must-visit.

very bad.
Noisy, long wait time.
Food is not fresh, the tuna is not red but black!
High tip rate. They enforce a 18% tip rate including tax. Which means for a $10 meal. You need to pay 10x(1.1 tax rate)x1.18=$13 around 30% tip

First time I came in here and the staff was very welcoming. They helped me understand how the menu works, and they were very friendly about it. The food came out and it was delicious. The green tea ice cream is also amazing here. Can't wait to come back here again!
