After reading the reviews, I was a bit surprised at the negativity. The AYCE is truly AYCE and the food arrives promptly. The staff are very friendly and check on you frequently. For the price, the selection is very good and the sushi is fresh. Furthermore, they don't overload you on rice like some AYCE sushi places do. Obviously it is not going to be Michelin or quality, but every dish was beyond palatable and you definitely get your moneys worth! I would say the AYCE is a must try in the SB area.

This is our go to place.Every time the food is fresh.Service excellent. We have always had an amazing experience with this restaurant.John is an amazing server. He knows our regular drink order and has it ready to go.All the servers are kind, polite and extremely efficient. I've never experienced an"off night "as far as food or services goes. The ambience is cozy. Can't imagine going anywhere else for fresh sushi

Came here for dinner tonight hoping for the usual good service we get. This time waited over an hour for our order to come out , order was missing a bunch of items including rolls for our vegetarian friend who doesn’t eat fish. Took even longer to get the rest of our order about 30 minutes. Server nearly refused to give us the rest of the order due to time limits

We had an early supper with AYCE. We sat at the booth with the sit in space. My kids love the experience. The quality of seafood is worth the price. Dinner was $31.99 plus tax. We had appetizers, the whole plate in the picture and round 2 plate of maki and finally the green tea ice cream. The waitress was very attentive even with the dinner crowd. The variety of rolls will be the missing star for the review. Everything spicy tastes just like spicy tuna. No difference whether you ordered spicy white salmon or spicy girl roll, they all tasted like spicy tuna roll.

The step in tables in the back were funky as hell but I was into it. The menu comes with a warning: Any wasted food will be charged, which I found to be odd, because let's be honest, that's what we Americans do. All you can eat for $30 well worth it. Everything we ordered was very good. Place was busy and the wait staff was attentive.

3 of us went for lunch today and arrived shortly before 2 p.m. Thankfully, I looked online ahead of time, as our original plan was to go for 3 p.m., and they would have been closed (different than what we have at some of our spots in MA and CT with them open throughout). The place has two distinct dining areas, one with regular tables and chairs, and the other one with long benches in what looked like mini rooms (at first, I thought it was for KBBQ). We were seated immediately. As a fair warning, the tables are relatively close together, so it was a bit of a tight squeeze. Make sure you like the people you're dining with. Ha ha! The lighting was dim with one large window streaming in, letting some light through, even with how foggy it was outside. We opted for the AYCE option. $28.99 per adult ($14.99 for children) for Tuesday - Thursday all day. Again, a slight difference from most of the AYCE places in MA and CT, where lunch is one price and supper another. We had the pick of food from 2 menus: one for kitchen items, including dessert, and the other for sushi items. We ordered a good mix of appetizers, soups, salads, sashimi, and specialty rolls on the first round (picture of the menu with our order). (Since I'm only allowed 140 characters for the caption...) On the large plate, from Top to Bottom and Left to Right, we had Volcano Roll, Special White Tuna Sashimi, Yankee Roll, Mackerel Sashimi, Seared Salmon Sashimi, Salmon Sashimi, Salmon Avocado Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Double Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll, and Phoenix Roll. For the 2nd round, we opted for only a couple of specialty rolls (Diamond Roll and Captain Roll) more of the seared salmon sashimi, another salmon mango salad, and another beef negimaki appetizer. For dessert, we ordered ice cream and one fried banana. Each person is allowed 2 scoops of ice cream. The fried banana is cut into slices and served with chocolate syrup and whipped cream on top (I missed a pic for this). All of the food was fresh (my partner actually has now rated this higher than our favorite AYCE spots back home), tasty, and had a gorgeous presentation. I read one review complaining about the rolls having too much rice. I disagree. The fish/filling-to-rice ratio was spot on. My only comment would be a request to have more sauce for the Agedashi tofu appetizer. Our servers were incredibly attentive, refilling drinks, delivering the food, removing empty platters, and checking on us throughout the meal. Not only do we plan on returning in the near future but also bringing my preteen, who loves sushi, too.

I love coming here for all you can eat. The fish quality is amazing and so fresh. There's a lot of different food you can order for ayce, from tempura to udon to sashimi to special rolls. The only down side is that the price has been going up over the past few years, but with COVID and inflation it makes sense. I'll keep coming here because it's the best quality sashimi that's ayce in the area.

Staff was inattentive and took 30 minutes for our first tray of sushi to arrive. That tray was missing half of what we ordered and only contained 4 rolls for our 3 person table.Due to the time that took, we asked for a menu to place our next order in advance which they gave to us but never took until after we finished the first tray. All said and done, it took an hour and a half for us to get two trays of some of the items we ordered. Will not be returning to this establishment given the other better options in the area.

I didn't know Hoshi Sushi was all you can eat. Now I know what AYCE means. They were super packed but we didn't have to wait long since it was just the two of us. We don't really care for all you can eat so we ordered from the regular menu. The sushi sashimi combo came with a soup and salad. The edamame was served cold, I'm not used to that. I wish the tuna was better, it was a little too stringy for my liking.
