Honestly wow! Not only is this place beautiful and clean, their food and service is simply top notch. Every single dish was delicious, I highly recommend the short rib agnolotti!! I've never had anything like it; the flavors and the melt in your mouth tender short ribs inside the pasta are to die for. 10/10 can't wait to be

Some of the best food I’ve ever had! Reminded me of food I had while in Italy. We got the 3 course dinner for $79 it was phenomenal and got to try a lot of items on the menu.

I went to Luca fir the first time last night and was honestly just not impressed. The meal started out okay with my waiter suggesting a modern mojito as a beverage, which was a good recommendation. The meal did not start to go poorly until after ordering my food- when my first course came out, I got the tuna, and it came out with a black hair in it. When, who I can only assume was, the manager came over to see how I was enjoying my food I informed him that there was hair in my food to which he was quite rude. He made me feel like I was in the wrong for sending the food back and even responded "maybe in some lights, I will get a new one." The staff barely, if at all, offered me an apology for there being hair in my food and there was not really any course of action to make it right- other than getting me a new meal (which should be a given). The whole incident was swept under the rug and not mentioned again the entire meal- including when they brought the check and charged me full price for a hairy meal. To me, customer service is everything and they had extremely poor customer service- will NOT be returning.I have uploaded a photo of the food, if you zoom in closely you can see the hair.

My favorite restaurant on Long Island. We go out a ton so when we heard a new place was coming into stony brook village we were thrilled. It exceeds all expectations. We come for every special occasion! The service is phenomenal, the food even better somehow. The very best part is that they have gluten free options, and more than that, HOMEMADE GLUTEN FREE PASTA! Do not sleep on Luca, although on the expensive side it is worth every penny. We made a reservation for our anniversary Wendesday night, but we probably didn't need to.Soon I want to come and just sit at the bar for a few cocktails, I haven't tried any yet but they look devine.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options and gluten free homemade pasta that is DEVINE!

The service, food, drinks and atmosphere were absolutely amazing. The experience is most definitely worth the cost! There are so many restaurants in the area that may be a bit less expensive but do not come close to the experience. I would recommend this place 10 times over and then two more times!!!!!

My friend and I wanted to try the restaurant as we had heard good reviews. We sat at the bar and was served by our pleasant bartender Kevin. After a great old fashioned, I was served the 3 course dinner. It was very good. I have eaten at many NYC famous restaurants and I can certainly say that Luca is on par. The cost $79, is not cheap but worthy of the food quality and service. Only weird thing was the restaurant practice of bringing only one piece of bread at a time. Seems strange to ration bread at this price point. Definitely worthy of a visit.
