The food was meticulously plated, well cooked, innovative and delicious. The restaurant itself, while nice, clean, and in an historic building, felt less refined than the menu and maybe a little newer than its historic shell though maintaining an historic look. As a regular diner at Mirabelle Tavern, I can confidently say it has never disappointed. It is cozy and has great ambience. The food is always top notch, and the service is consistently on the mark. The panisses (chick pea fries) and summer lobster rolls are a must try! This restaurant is one of my favorites. I plan to visit more often now since the recent storm damage collapsing Harbor Rd at Avalon Park. I'm afraid the normal flow of visitors might be lower, and I want to...

Nice experience. As a long time patron I still miss the old ambiance, but the bar evokes enough old memories to get over it. Food was good, but the menu was a bit strange. It jumped from bar food to complicated cuisine. With that said the oysters were outstanding but the baratta was underwhelming. The waiter and staff were excellent.
