Authentic Chinese. Not Chinese American, which is not their food they eat.

The first time we had Tao's was today using UberEats so I cannot speak to the atmosphere. I will start and say that the BBQ spareribs were amazing. Very fall off the bone tender. As for everything else - very lackluster to poor. We purposely ordered from this restaurant for the roast pork buns after watching Jet Tila make them on his show. They were extremely disappointing. There was only one 1/2 inch piece of pork in a mountain of a doughy bun. Now, I don't know if the bun lost its consistency because it was delivered but that doesn't excuse the measly portion of roast pork. The chicken wings we ordered were dry and flavorless. Again, this may be because of the delivery. However, there were no sauces provided for any of the dishes to offset. As for the Cold Sesame Noodles there was no flavor in the sauce. I can probably make a better sauce with PBFit. Unfortunately, based on this experience we probably will not order from them again.

Should have trust others’ one star before I order. It was good last year, but this year, the food quality is so under expectations. The pork has a lot of hair which is so disgusting. And the tasty is very below average. So are other dish I ordered, taste like wax. You should keep your food quality otherwise no one will come back.

NEVER order takeout from this place. Smallest portions I’ve ever seen. I thought it was half eaten when it came.

Clearly a labor of love. This place is small, maybe 14 seats, but the food coming out of that kitchen is excellent. The waiter was friendly and handled the seated orders with the take out efficiently. My sister and I got an order of pork bao, and pork soup dumplings to share. Both were great and the soup dumplings had an excellent and rich broth. I moved on to the Yi Bin noodles and they were covered in the delicious and floral peppercorns with excellent noodles. My sister got a beef noodle soup that was perfectly flavored. We had to get the pork bao for dessert and left very satisfied.
