Playa Cancun is a restaurant known for its beautiful location with views of the Hudson River, offering a peaceful and amazing atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant is attractive, and there is a well-built patio for outdoor seating, making it a great spot to enjoy the scenery. The staff is friendly and polite, providing good service, though not always perfectly on point. The Mexican food served is fresh and of great quality, with dishes like shrimp fajitas coming out sizzling and authentic. The tres leches cake and French toast are highly praised, and the drink selection is impressive, including delicious mango spicy margaritas and the best micheladas on the east. There are many menu choices, so repeat visits will be necessary. The prices are a bit high, but the food and drinks, from sangria to tamales, are very tasty and worth the visit. Parking is usually crowded, but there are nearby spots by the water when needed. Many visitors say it’s a great place to relax and enjoy good food and drinks with a fantastic view.
