Route 78 Road-trip. Great service Great Food. Wings and Weck were “the mission” on my annual trek to Western NY and Beaver Meadow Nature Center. Wings, The real deal. The plump wings were perfectly cooked and smothered in a base of Franks Hot Sauce sauce little butter and maybe some other surprises thrown in. I consider myself an “expert taster” in this regard having made thousands of wing orders in my college days. “Beef on Weck” tender juicy sliced thin and dripping with a side of au jus and horseradish served in a Kemmelweck roll caraway and salt. Awesome! Heading back to Indiana I Visited Tops in Alden and loaded up the cooler with Webers Mustard, Sahlens and Zweigels Hot Dogs and some Kielbasa.

We had the place to ourselves on a Saturday lunch. The server was friendly and attentive. I had sliced roast beef hoagie with melted parmesan cheese and mushrooms. Perfect and so good!My wife enjoyed her toast beef au jus on a weck that was so big she could eat less than half of it. The decor was fascinating with photos from the past including covers of Life magazine. The pub was built 175 years ago and has a warm ambiance.

My husband and I had a very nice meal tonight. The server was especially attentive and the food was delicious, affordably priced. The restaurant was clean and spacious. First time here and we are definitely coming back! We had fish fry and beef on Weck. Both were so good. They have THE BEST fries here. The fish fry was perfectly done. Great, friendly service as well. Oh, don't forget the best key lime ever!

We just had a delicious dinner at The Pub. It’s been too long since we came here to eat! We are never disappointed in the food here, and friendly relaxed atmosphere. Jim and I had Casino Seafood: YUM! Huge tender juicy Scallops and Shrimp! Cullen had a burger- also huge and yum!
