We had the place to ourselves on a Saturday lunch. The server was friendly and attentive. I had sliced roast beef hoagie with melted parmesan cheese and mushrooms. Perfect and so good!My wife enjoyed her toast beef au jus on a weck that was so big she could eat less than half of it. The decor was fascinating with photos from the past including covers of Life magazine. The pub was built 175 years ago and has a warm ambiance.
My husband and I had a very nice meal tonight. The server was especially attentive and the food was delicious, affordably priced. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The beer assortment was excellent, the menu had a wider variety of choices, food was carefully prepared. The chatter in the restaurant was friendly and welcoming like a friendly family gathering.
