Delicious shrimp quesadilla and desserts. I always get something here when I'm in Suffern.

The food is very tasty and authentic. Something that my family and I love is whenever you get seated you are given chips and salsa. Salsa here is great and tastes very fresh. As a separate option you can order guacamole for the chips, this however costs extra. The atmosphere here is amazing as it feels welcoming and lively inside. Workers are very nice and are always rotating around tables to see where they’re needed. Sometimes, there are even people that walk around signing and playing instruments to entertain. This place is great for family and friends to have a casual meal and I would recommend it.

Great food and a fantastic margarita. The wait staff were kind and attentive. There are a bunch of Mexican restaurants in town but this one is my favorite.

The food is delicious but I give them two because the service is terrible. We waited more than an hour for them to give us a table and more for the food.

Absolutely a place you won't regret going to. The food is great. They make the guacamole table side in a molcajete. It's fun.

Stopped by heat early on a Saturday night, very nice festive atmosphere, clean and nice set up. Seated quickly, staff were very polite and attentive. Had the shrimp cocktail to start and that was excellent, plenty of it, nice sauce, perfect as an appetizer for 2. Had a breaded chicken cutlet dish, which was very good, chicken was excellent, sauce was ok, rice and refried beans were ok.

Food was really good and the service was attentive. Maybe a bit too attentive at times because a few minutes after one server checked in with us, another server would check in. This happened a few times. Couldn’t tell if we were being rushed (though we had just been seated) or if their servers were just being vigilant. In any case, nice spot, good portions & drink selections and fair prices.

Great food and drinks and very reasonably priced. The service is prompt and very courteous. We love the burrito dish with pulled beef. The two burritos are big enough to be shared as an entree.. drinks are awesome..

We enjoyed the food in the authentic cantina atmosphere. However, it's not a romantic spot. (It can be a little loud when crowded). It's great for large groups and families. It's also good for kids who enjoy authentic Mexican food. You'll find a lot of Hispanic people earing there, (which is a very good sign for me). I've also seen live entertainment on the weekend. (Usually, someone singing Mexican songs with a guitar. I really enjoy that. It adds to the authentic atmosphere. )The staff is very, very, very attentive. There was just a slight lack of warmth because the service was so fast. (It felt a little mechanical)Don't miss out on the guacamole appetizer. It was really good. There wasn't a miss amongst any of our choices of entrees. The shrimp dish my wife chose had a very good number of large shrimps. All of the entrees were all delicious. We keep going back for the great food. It is a favorite place for my adult niece, so we always go there when she comes to visit. There are many choices in town for Mexican food due to the large population of people from Vera Cruz, Mexico. Some are better for Spanish speakers, some also cater to English speakers too. Hacienda is great for both. The food reflects all of the authentic flavors from that area. Really, really good food. We also enjoyed a 1/2 pitcher of margaritas, which were spot on.There is street parking only. You may not be able to park very close because there is also a very busy sushi restaurant close by. (But you'll always find a spot to park). There are no steps and is accessible for most people. Enjoy!
