Sushi Bada in Suffern is an amazing experience. The food is incredible and fresh, with high quality fish and unique roll combinations. The Brussels sprouts are out of this world—crispy and flavorful. The avocado bomb is incredible, and the fried avocado fries are unique and perfectly done. The Play Suffern roll is delicious and very fresh full of flavor. The sushi is consistently delicious, from sushi to bowls of udon noodles with vegetables/chicken. The drinks are great, with a great cocktail selection and interesting flavor combinations. The service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and makes the whole meal even better. The staff is attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The atmosphere is awesome. However, seating can be awful; even with reservations, waiting almost an hour to be seated has happened, as the restaurant can be overbooked. Despite this, it is a go-to spot and the best Japanese Restaurant in Bergen County, reminding diners of Japanese restaurants in East Midtown Manhattan.
