We were staying one night in Suffern and decided to try daNina for dinner. We had a fabulous dinner. Between us, we ordered appetizers (raw oysters), pasta, gnocchi and a veal chop, then dessert (plus a nice bottle of chianti). Everything was amazing and all cooked perfectly. This is the best Italian restaurant in the area. The have consistently put out great food for decades. The quality has not waned since it opened to acclaim. I felt they could have used one more waiter on the floor, but everyone that helped us (which I think was everyone at some point) was friendly and helpful. Standard Italian food. Took a party with two small kids in the rain with no issues. Staff is incredibly friendly. Portions are huge. Very old school decor and it reflects with the clientele. Really happy we were walking by and decided to go in. Everyone left extremely full.
