“My husband and I had our first visit at lunch today and the food was delicious. It’s great to find a place with a large vegan menu. We will definitely come again!“

“We finally got to check this place out when in the area for a book signing. OMG... EVERYTHING was so delicious. It's all slightly under-seasoned, which is typical of restaurants to remain more neutral, but easily remedied. I was just beyond thankful for all the gluten-free options and versions of the non-gf offerings. I had the gluten-free Country Fried Chick’n, w White Gravy Bowl, Chick'n Parm Hero, and Buffalo Chik'n Mac n Cheese. All of them were SO good and well-made. The sandwich needed no seasoning, but the white gravy was lacking salt and pepper and the mac n cheese was a bit dry and needed more buffalo sauce. Thankfully, I had some extra cheese sauce and buffalo sauce at home. I may have to buy extra cheese sauce from there next time we order. All of the flavors I wanted were there, overall. My husband had the regular versions of the Sausage, Peppers & Onions Hero, Kielbasa and Sauerkraut Hero w mustard, Cheesesteak Empanadas, and Corn Bread. He couldn't say enough good things about the sausage sandwiches and declared them the best he's had post AND pre-vegan! He loved the empanadas so much he's going to grab a cheesesteak sub next time. He described the cornbread as fluffy, flavorful, and one of the best he's had. He sliced it in half and topped it with some chili the next day. It took us a few days to get through it all, but it was so worth the big order. I wish there was some tables so you could enjoy it hot and fresh, but it was a nice night and we got some air as we ate outside. The owner was very kind and obviously puts a lot of love and effort into his food. It's 45 minutes away without traffic, but we'll definitely make this a destination from time to time. Absolutely worth it!“

One of the owners, Marcello makes his rounds around the room speaking to his customers and making you feel at home. Everything I ordered was delicious and the waiters are so polite and attentive. “Had dinner here this weekend for a nice night out. Food was beyond amazing! The staff was very knowledgeable about their dishes and specials. We ended up with Tuna Tartar, Stuffed Figs wrapped in bacon with salad, and Asparagus with roasted red pepper puree topped with prosciutto for an appetizer. I had a veal chop that was out of this world, my fiancée had seared duck breast, and we finished it off with a slice of delicious carrot cake and decaf cappuccinos. Everything was absolutely incredible, couldn't recommend it more for a nice night out!“

“From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us like old friends and walked us right to our table — I instantly had a good feeling, and I was right. Our server was awesome — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and was on top of everything all night.

The menu is classic Italian but with a twist — way more interesting than your standard North Jersey Italian spot. The ossobuco was fantastic (if I had to nitpick, I’d say the risotto could’ve used a touch less water and a heavier hand with the parm). The clams were fresh and baked to perfection, and my son devoured his ravioli. For dessert, the bread pudding was absolutely unreal — honestly worth the trip alone.

“Bareburger is one of the best places to eat out if you have Celiac, especially this location! The staff is always super friendly and accommodating, especially Kylie, who is a lovely server. I love their gluten free chicken tenders and the fact that their French fries have their own fryer! You also can't go wrong with their Classic Chix sandwich, which I substitute with grilled chicken and either a lettuce wrap or gluten free bun depending on my mood. “We ordered TOM XAO CARI XA OT CAY which is stir fried curry and lemongrass, HU TIEU XAO CARI CAY which is rice noodle w/curry chicken and Pho Do Bien which is rice noodle seafood soup.
My take was a little different than my husbands, so I’ll give you both. The price were very reasonable, albeit the portions were more like lunch size, but for me it was enough.

The dishes had a decent amount of noodles but could have used a bit more protein and vegetables. I thought the curry dishes had a nice sweet curry flavor but I didn’t taste any spice in either dish nor did I get a taste of citrus from the lemongrass. I still enjoyed it and would
go back again and try some other dishes.

My husband on the other hand had a different experience. He said the soup was good but felt the curry dishes were very bland and lacked flavor especially salt and spice. I am not sure he will be going back with me. 😂

Overall I recommend you check it out for yourself. The jury is still out for us, but I would try it again.“
