Taqueria America “El Sueño Americano Restaurant” serves excellent authentic Mexican food. The food is delicious, with true authentic tacos including super yummy Birria tacos and consume, as well as gorditas with cecina. The cheese used for the quesadilla and tortas is quesillo or Oaxaca, which makes a huge difference. The green salsa is a favorite, and the green salsa verde is the spicier one, while the red salsa sauce has a lovely smokiness. The guacamole was one of the best ever tasted, and chips are fresh and warm. A side of rice and beans is enough for 3 people. The atmosphere is cheerful, and the waiters and waitresses are very welcoming and pleasant. The place reminds many of a favorite restaurant in Loreto, Baja Mexico. Excellent $3 street tacos, with steak and chicken tacos also delicious. The margaritas are delicious and refreshing. The worst part is the place wasn’t as clean as it could have been, but it is a top favorite for dinner.
