I order chapli kabab fish kabab with rice. Fish was ok Chapli kabab was not freshly made. After eating I got bad stomach aches and explosive diarrhea. They didn’t serve fresh food. Sorry but I will never go again

DO NOT ORDER UBER EATS FROM THIS RESTAURANT!! I placed an order as this restaurant showed up on my uber eats from my address, after placing the order it showed a delivery time of 2 hours. I immediately cancelled the order on the uber eats app within seconds of placing the order

I got charged $100 for food I never received and am not being refunded by uber eats because the restaurant “accepted” the order

The restaurant staff lied to me over the phone stating they did not accept the order and it has already been cancelled.

SCAM!! Contact uber eats and have my order refunded and I will remove this review. If not BUYER BEWARE do not order online!!

Great food when you need a wholesome meal! I recommend a couple kebabs like the combo or sultani and a side order of curry to go on the extra rice. Portions make for a whole day's worth of food.

I went for lunch! I ordered meat and rice! The portion was very small! And they charged me double the price! The menu had one price, the person at the counter charged me double, please next time check the menu price and the receipt! It’s not worth it what they charged me for lunch!

I've been going to this place for a few years now and have always had good experiences. It's actually been one of my favorite restaurants since I first discovered it. The food is delicious and they used to have pretty good prices. Last time I went was my first negative experience though. They recently increased their prices and, at the same time, seemed to give slightly smaller portions. Some of my food also took a long time to come out. The worst part though is that, after doing the math and including tax, I seem to have been overcharged by about $10, which I will assume was just an honest mistake. I still gave them a four star review because, prior to my last visit, based on my previous visits over the past few years, I would have given five stars, but I hope next time I visit I don't have a similar experience to last time or I might not be back again.

This place is A+. I’m shocked this place doesn’t have a higher rating but when I read the comments, it’s only bc of the lighting, which makes almost zero impact on how i choose restaurants. What this place does well is make excellent food, large portions and it’s extremely affordable considering how expensive food cost are today. Oh and the staff are extremely humble and kind, which is becoming rare at restaurants today. Highly recommend, can’t say enough great things and I’ll be coming back

Unfortunately this place is is consistently providing mediocre portions and mediocre food. If your from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh you will notice the food missing essential ingredients and spices.
The best part of this place is the location and atmosphere. I’m not sure the food is truly Afghan either.

I thought the food was delicious as was the chai and mango Lassi. The waitress was also kind. The only thing amiss is that it's very dark inside and they don't play any music--which makes it feel tense and awkward. It's hard to feel relaxed and want to have a private conversation with the person or people you're dining with when it's eerily silent and everyone can hear you speak and chew. They need to lighten the place up and perhaps play some contemporary music or traditional Afghan music.

Decent place for Afghan food. There was a lot of seating and everything was clean. The food itself was decent. The potato bolani, was quite good, as was the mixed grill platter. Make sure to get the Kashmiri chai, it's the best way to top the food off.

This place is dope and a nice change of pace from the usually Suffern cuisine unlike Diddys (also in Suffern) this place actually succeeds at making the food its marketing. Only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is this. They never seem to have a fresh soft warm piece of bread always bad bread. The owner is very stingy about giving you more spicy sauce which to me is really weird I just bought a whole plate of food I feel like I should be able to have 3 hot sauces and not feel guilty about asking. The atmosphere is that there is none it’s usually really still in this restaurant very relaxed which can be nice to some. Your actually meal will always be good tried just about everything and it’s all good even the salads are fresh none of that day old salad. No atmosphere bad bread and a very oddly priced menu the amount of rice vs meat is insane sometimes luckily (unlike diddys) the food here is always good.
