This restaurant is a fairly new establishment. I didn't even know it existed until recently. I went to check it out and give it a shot. It was empty on a Sunday afternoon, so no reservations had to be made. There was only one person who was doing everything here, which seems to be a common occurrence. I guess it does save on overhead costs. There's ample seating, and everything seems to be newish. I like the decor of the place. They had a painting of a character from coco, which was nicely done. They have both lunch and brunch menus for us to order from. On the house, they gave us chips and dip while we perused the menu. Decided on the mixed fajitas, which was a good choice for my main course. The portion size was good, and I came on an empty stomach, too. I asked for hotsauce, and they gave it to us in these cute containers. I would definitely give it another shot and order something different.

Guy who works there tried to put gratuity for my takeout meal. Food was barely warm and undercooked. Bad managment results in bad business practice, now i see that they tried to charge gratuity to other people here in reviews, i have to contact consumer affairs and report them

Very good place, the birria tacos highly recommended. But what I loved was Esperanza's service and attention, we will definitely return for her.

Took a drive to Queens from Oneonta Ny just to have dinner at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff was friendly and efficient. Will definitely come here again. It was our first time trying authentic Mexican food and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. So stop on in for some amazing food and friendly service. 5 Stars

Went for dinner on a Friday night, there was a performer in house. They sounded great, my only problem was the music was so loud, we couldn't hear each other very well throughout most of the dinner. Ordering was fine, the food was delicious! Two of us got the quesadillas and they were great. We did have to ask for water, it wasn't brought out automatically but not a big deal, I know the water being brought out thing can be "an American thing" so possible they're just not used to it. I ordered an appetizer and that didn't get brought out until the entrees came out. I don't think our table was ever checked on while we were there, but when the staff did come speak to us they were super friendly. Food was good, service needs some work but i think with time they'll get the hang of things and the staff is very friendly!

This has become a new fave for us! Some of the best Mexican food we've had. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The piña colada was so velvety--best I have ever had, truly. We also LOVED the queso fundido. We both ordered enchiladas poblanos. Chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, and the molé was a great blend of spicy and a hint of sweet. Such a delicious, satisfying meal. Service was great--we were greeted with smiles, and they checked up on us frequently. We loved the clean, colorful, fun decor, too! We will definitely be back often.

Good sauces. Mediocre cocktail. Expensive. I can work with all of these things but the abysmal service is a dealbreaker. Asked twice for water. The second time, my husband was brought a water with a cocktail straw, this long after our food arrived. Seemingly no concept of bringing water for the table. Had to ask for silverware and napkins. Were not given plates for apps. Were not checked on at all; had to call for service every time. The two young women were occupied by their phones. Pretty standard service expectations not even met. I hope they improve. Place was empty except for us at 7p on a weeknight.
