Happened to be in town for the Ryder Cup and to visit a friend (Steve T.) who lives in Bethpage. He insisted that we go to Chris & Tony's. He bragged about it for weeks. It was a great call on has part. Dinner and service were superb. The pours were tall. A bit loud but in a good way. If I've had better Italian food (I've been eating it for 64 years) I can't remember when. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to something special. You'll be glad that did!

My wife, sister and brother in law and I flew into NYC this afternoon and by chance chose to eat at Chris and Tony’s. Never been there before, found it in a Google search. OMG… what an amazing by-chance dining experience. Crushed it! From the moment we walked in…a busy Sunday evening... the host greeted us warmly as if we were family and immediately seated us at a spacious table in a full dining room. Started with a large calamari for the table of four. You know it’s amazing when the eyes bulge and smiles beam across every face as the food is placed on the table. The previous “best ever” calamari is now a distant second place. We then shared family style servings of filet of sole, bolognese penne, eggplant parmigiana and shrimp francese. Insanely good… seriously…best in class. Perfectly cooked, amazing flavors and excellent presentation… thanks to our waiter Even who was a true Rock Star. He was engaged, personable, attentive and knew the menu inside and out. Oh, being a Sunday, we were able to observe NFL games on the few large screen TV’s placed throughout the main dining room. Bad day for both the Jets and Giants… but we won big time with Chris and Tony’s. If you’ve never been to Chris and Tony’s…you’re missing out on an amazing dining experience of incredible food at very reasonable prices.

I had an incredible dining experience at Chris and Tony's! The food was absolutely outstanding. I tried the money bags and the veal, and both dishes were cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the presentation was just as impressive. From start to finish, everything was delicious. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Italian cuisine! Looking forward to my next trip to long island to come again.
