“The only suggestion is go during the week ??! It’s so good!! There was a line out the door on a cold Friday night. Great food, great service! Great dining experience. A new regular place. Do yourself a favor and go here! The owner no only apologized 4 times for the wait because of how unbelievably busy they were(completely understandable after eat here) he greeted everyone, made sure to shake hands and say goodbye to every table. The staff was great, thought, engaging. The food was great. It was well priced. Thank you! Definitely see you againVegetarian options: Good vegetarian options. The choice for vegan food.”
“What a cute cafe!! Clean and modern. Food and desserts were delicious. So glad we decided to stop by for brunch. Drinks were so good!! We got the MBlue drink and it was very good and looked really pretty. The puff and Croffle were just the right sweetness. It was the perfect dessert after our ramen and sushi bowl. They were very good at listening to my requests of no sesame and no seaweed salad and corn. The wonderful front desk even double checked once my dish came out to make sure it was correct before it was given to me. Very nice. Will definitely return!”
“Good meal but not rushing to go back. The food was good, not amazing, but very expensive. Very noisy in the dining room too. Good place for large groups but there are other Italian restaurants on LI I would recommend over this.”
“Love this place. The staff is incredibly nice and the food is delicious. The takoyaki was so good. Highly recommend the spicy miso ramen. Loved the pork gyoza with the dipping sauce. The seaweed salad was very tasty too. Definitely making this a go to spot in Syosset.”
“Pretty good! This place offers decent slight intimate dining, with great service and good. We had the baked clams which were absolutely delicious! One of our favorites to date.for entrees, we had their pizza and a pasta dish. Both of which were delicious. For desert, we had the napoleon which wasn't great. We definitely won't be getting that ago. Overall, it was a great and welcoming dining experience but it's the type of place you would seek out more if you were local to the venue. Will definitely return in the future.”
“The brunch I had was amazing. Highly recommend the Apple Crumb French Toast. The atmosphere was impeccable (including the restrooms). And the service was top notch. Not to mention the coffee was delicious.”
“Great food and incredible service. We were a party of 6 that stopped by for dinner on a Thursday. Food was delicious, great presentation. We were celebrating a birthday and the folks at George White all made it very special. Highly recommend.”
“It was an amazing experience. The manager was so nice. He came an spoke to us in very authentic way. It was our mom's 1st anniversary without our father and he made sure to be very thoughtful and charismatic. We appreciate it. It made her day! The food was so good. The waiters were beyond nice. Even the valet was nice. A great time all around. ?We are going to plan my sisters birthday party to be here. Love it here ...”
“Small section of Japanese market in rear. Great for quick Ramen fix! Very limited menu. Delivery in rear disturbs dining as cartons coming in take up space on tables. Very nice staff...used to frequent their restaurant in Little Neck which was more pleasant to dine in and had a larger menu including sushi.”
“Reliable, family-owned neighborhood restaurant. I have now ordered from both the Mexican and Italian sections of the menu and both are worthy of a return visit. Staff is warm and attentive. Reasonable prices.”
“The food is always really delicious and fresh! We love going there for lunch or dinner, and we leave wishing to come back again. Thank you for the spectacular food and great service!”
“We’ve been coming to Franina for years but I never posted anything until now. The food is excellent and the presentation is elegant and creative. Check out the Frutti di Mare. It could have been plated like most other restaurants do which is a pile of seafood on a few large leaves of romaine. But at Franina, it’s a work of art and absolutely delicious.”
“Great little find. The owner has a passion for making great personal “pizza”. Pizza is in quotes because it was more than pizza. Their dough recipe is better than your usual pizza dough. The owner knows how to meld flavors together, instead of just throwing on bacon and bbq sauce, which is what some places do.The owner recommended the Blueberry pie, which we were leery of, so we ordered a Contadina pie also, just case we didn’t like the Blueberry pie… Totally unnecessary because we loved the Blueberry pie. We’ll be back to try the Chef’s other creations!”
“Tasty authentic taiwanese food! Just as good as food from Queens. Slightly more expensive, but that is expected in Syosset. Survive was great and very helpful. Will go again!”
“We had an amazing lunch today. They have great service with home style food. We had Chan’s Bhatia’s fabfbtandiiorub were very tender.Kawal, the owner was very warm and welcomed us with open arms. We will definitely go back. Lychee Lassi and masala tea was too good. Lllllllgg”
